You know summer is coming when you feel like color blocking again.
You’ve probably seen this skirt on me a number of times already. Needless to say, it’s one of my favorite skirts. The shape and length is perfect–not too conservative yet not too sexy. I paired it with a sheer cut-out buttondown from WAGW. Would you believe I used to hate shoulder cutouts when I was younger? I found them tacky and weird. Lately though, I find myself getting more and more attracted to dresses and tops with cut-out shoulders like this blouse. There’s something about them that makes the garment sexy but in a subtle way. And you know how much I love subtly sexy pieces!

Call It Spring bright orange pumps
Another thing I used to hate on me, the color orange! I used to think it doesn’t suit me. There was once a time when you’d find only 1 or 2 orange items in my closet. But since last year, I can’t seem to get enough of orange. Thank God the color is so in this season. I will no longer have a hard time finding orange everything, like these fluorescent orange pumps! Imagine my delight when I saw these babies waiting for me on the shelves of Call It Spring just a few weeks ago. The heels are just right too–pain-free and trip-proof!
