Diamond In The Rough

When my bestie told me her theme for her birthday party is glitz and glam, I knew exactly what to wear. This perfect party/club dress from Dress Empire arrived just a few weeks ago and it definitely screams glitz and glam, don’t you think?

Scala dresses are always so beautifully embellished. This one is actually cut a little low in front which makes it so much sexier. I just opted to wear an inner dress to hide my cleavage so that I can move around more easily. If the event was more formal and sit-down, I’d definitely consider wearing this without the slip dress.

As with most of my looks wearing fully embellished dresses, I opted for minimal accessories again to avoid looking too flashy. (The sequins are flashy enough!) Minimal accessories allow your dress to shine on its own (literally and figuratively). In my opinion, they make your entire look so much more sophisticated and classy.

That intricate detailing on the dress is really worth the wait! Haha. I suddenly remembered your gold TFNC dress which had its own appearance in your “Gold on the Ceiling” outfit post. Plus, the geometric design of the dress matched with the square patterns of the street where you took those shots made the outfit stand out more! I think you don’t excel in fashion only Camille, but also in photography! Two thumbs up! :))
N.B. I noticed that you don’t wear Guess(?) pieces much. Any reason why?

Thanks Ruki! :) Wow! You’re quite observant! I didn’t even notice my background haha! Thank you :)

I don’t really wear the brand much. I think I’ve outgrown them. I used to wear Guess kids a lot though!

The dress is incredibly awesome. And I absolutely agree with you, it is better not to wear a lot of jewelry.

Even the shoes are shiny.. People won’t have a hard time finding you at night. So glittery.. like a disco ball. Gotta admit, the details on that dress is amazing. Nice touch with the slip dress, would’ve figured it was part of the dress.

How do you even wash these kind of clothes? Too scared to wear one since it seems that its too flashy for me but you look so good in it I’m jealous. lol.
