Squares

I really love Manila Bay. It’s the best place to take outfit shots!

You might’ve already seen this outfit here. This was taken right before I attended the Cotton On launch at SM Mall Of Asia a few weeks back. Since the theme of the launch was preppy and collegiate, I wanted to fit in and dressed as if I were part of Gossip Girl Blair’s posse seated at the steps–except I have studs on my collar and shoes.

Speaking of shoes, I’ve been dying to wear my first ever Mcqueen’s out for months now!!!! I’ve always wanted to own something from this brand. I know it’s already Sarah Burton designing for the label but still, I worship Alexander Mcqueen. I’ve always looked up to him and his aesthetic as a designer. I’m such a huge fan so anything with McQueen on it makes me all giggly inside!

Equipment top

Happy Boon detachable collar

Sabrina skirt

Happy Boon connector rings

I actually just noticed this now. There are quite a lot of squares on my outfit, from my top to my skirt, down to the little studs on my ring. #JustSaying

Chloe bag

Alexander Mcqueen wedges

P.S. Who’s going to the Candy Fair this Saturday? I’m participating once again (like last year) but this time I’m walking the runway for SM GTW. All of SM GTW’s brand ambassadors will be there so it’ll be so much fun! See you there Candy girls!

I have no clue what this color is. I think it’s a little ash blonde :)

I love your “Blair Waldorf look”! I never would’ve thought that green could be so cohesive with other colors. Ugh. *A super regretting person here!* Haha. And those McQueens! I died! Haha. Alexander M. truly is a genius. The fashion powerhouse’s designs are not the usual styles we see everyday and yet they are not over the top! *drools*. :D
P.S. Ate Camille I badly need your help! Just bought an Armani vest that is olive green-colored but I do not know to which color should I pair it with. Huhu. You’re probably thinking, “why did you buy it if you do not know how to pair it with another piece?”, but the structure was what bought me! I’m thinking of wine violet actually. Haha. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance ate! :)

Oh my gosh. I love your outfit. I always think that only you can pull those mixing of patterns together. I especially love your bag!!
Also, do you color your hair? It seems very natural but you seem to have black roots…

For you, what high-end brand does not compromise comfort? And oh, I saw on instagram that you’re an ambassador of Crocs now. Congrats! I remember reading a blogger’s entry wherein she said that wearing crocs is a big fashion crime because she finds them really ugly. I think it’s Kryz or Laureen who said that. Oh I know na! It was Kryz. No wonder she’s not an ambassador. She’s the one who also said that those slippers and “wedge” (havaianas high) at the same time is very much unacceptable to wear.

Tom Ford is really brilliant too! Gotta love him and Sarah Burton :D
http://cdn.fashionista.com/uploads/2012/09/LOOK_28_MARTE_1653_f1-640×960.jpg?9d7bd4 and i love how he transitioned from fashion design to shoe “architecture” haha! He designs shoes na din for quite some time now. Those shoes have an ankle length version too: http://cdn.fashionista.com/uploads/2012/09/LOOK_03_PATRYCJA_1813_lmPress-640×960.jpg?9d7bd4 Would you consider making shoes?

I’m just curious (I always am and thank you for being SO ACCOMMODATING haha!) …competition in the fashion industry is very tough nowadays, how do you step up? How do you make your aesthetic different?

By focusing more on your own work instead of others’ work. We have to keep reinventing and finding ways to improve ourselves.

Tom Ford is really good too! I agree! I love how clean his designs are and how well he understands a woman’s body. And to think he’s straight!

Hmmmm it’s case to case I think. Like for YSL, their tribs are famous for being comfortable, while other styles, not as much. :) Haha! I used to have this stereotype about Crocs too when they first came out. Although I do have Crocs in my closet even prior to becoming an ambassador for the brand, I never thought they can actually become fashionable until I saw their latest collection–which more or less convinced me to sign on with the brand. :)

I don’t think I’ll ever own those slippers as well though. I’m strongly against them too haha!
