Emerald City

itscamilleco.com2013112403

You know the holidays are near when you start seeing so many clothes in metallic and jewel tones at almost every store. I’m not complaining though, I happen to love them! They look so luxurious and sophisticated–just look at this emerald green skirt. Divine! Match it with warm-colored clothes then accessorize with gold and you’re good to go! Ready for the holiday parties ahead. I didn’t wear my outfit to a party though but to an equally special occasion instead. This was the day I met and shot with my Preview x SM Beauty winners. The editorial is coming out on Preview Magazine this December so do watch out for it! My girls looked especially dashing! Which reminds me, if you haven’t voted for one of them yet, please do. Vote for Jamie, Manny Ann or Pauline here.

I wasn’t a big fan of leopard print (simply because I think it’s too Kardashian) until I saw this outfit.

LOL! I wasn’t a big fan as well, when I was still in college. For some reason, I’ve grown to love it now :)

Hi ate (oops, feeling close, sorry haha!)

I just wanted to know paano niyo po nakekeri yung pagsuot ng ganun kapayat na heels? Like, paano po maglakad ng hindi mukhang hirap? I’ve always shied away from stilettos kasi I’m afraid to fall in them or di kaya ayokong magmukhang feeling fashionista pero hirap naman maglakad sa heels? Kasi recently din, I just saw this girl with like the HOTTEST heels ever, pero nung nakita ko siya maglakad, parang ayy… akayin kita ate, you want?

REEAALLY love the whole get up btw! And whenever I have the time, I always spend a good full hour on your blog!

leopard print and emerald green? interesting combination. do you think zebra print and emerald green will work as well?

I still like looking at your shoes even if I saw it a lot of times! you said it’s deadly, so how long can you wear it before your feet hurt? just curious. hehe.

love your hair and makeup here! ang puti-puti mo kasi! :)

Thanks Pat! I think zebra with this skirt might not look as good but it’s workable :) I can wear these shoes for a good few hours. :) Maybe around 4?

This has got to be my top fave look for 2013! (now you are pressured to top this before the year ends lol) the skirt is so festive yet the length makes it more feminine even if it’s in metallic which usually falls to a more flamboyant and daring vibe. EVERYTHING is flawless, from your hair and make-up down to your sexy Zanotti heels. Perfection!

Hi ate Camille, do those heels hurt your feet? They seem deadly. Lol. I really love your skirt, it reminds me of a chilly Christmas day. And what brand of curler do you use? Do they stay all day? It really is hard to find good brands these days. Thank you very much po. God bless, ate Camille, <3

These curls were done by the hair stylist for the shoot so I don’t know what he used :) So sorry! And yes these shoes are quite deadly :)

The emerald-green looks wonderful with your matte lip color, Miss Camille! I love the holiday fashion lineup you seem to have going on, and this outfit post is totally one for the books.

I have to admit, I thought your background was snow at first. Then I saw the dolphin, and got embarrassed. I want to dress up as a Santa’s Helper elf and hand you a dainty pair of velvety-green gloves to go with your ensemble. You look so Russian here. Like Princess Anastasia Romanov on a casual stroll.

Your red highlights (or lowlights? Sadly, I’m not sure which term is correct :-( ) are well accentuated by leopard print of your top. Even your chosen necklace pops up like a charm. I love how you chose this accessory with an herbal-green hue to go with the main pendant string of emerald.

Is your bag full-on folded metal? I looked at the close-up, but I still couldn’t tell if it’s metallic fabric or one of those sturdy materials used for jewel-toned purses. I noticed that the gold reflected your green skirt and made the colors blend like holiday mistletoe! :-D

Great pair of heels too! I think Etcetera on ETC mentioned that this kind of stiletto is called a “pickle stabber” because of the fine points. The swirl of brown on the stiletto area is very intriguing.

Congratulations on your Preview spread, Miss Camille! Keep on being such an inspiration! <3

That would be cute! Velvet gloves and snow!! My bag is made of acrylic I think :) Thank you Angelic! I didn’t know my heels are called pickle stabbers! Cool!!!
