Daddy’s Girl

I can now officially say that each and every member of my family has taken my outfit shots for my blog. Hooray! I never thought this day would come! So who’s the last member? It’s none other than my dear daddy-o! I remember when I first learned I was flying to Singapore with him. I was stressing over who would take my outfit shots while we were there. I figured I had the first 2 outfit posts covered with my cousin (who’s also a dSLR newbie) graciously agreeing to take on the photographer role. But what about the 3rd one? My cousin couldn’t accompany me during the day so I had no choice but to ask my dad to take my photos. Take note, he’s already 62 years old. I didn’t want to make him do it but he was so game! He did struggle a bit though. He was so cute trying to keep his balance while crouching on the floor. The humidity didn’t help make the situation any better for him either. Poor daddy! Good thing he loves me. That and the fact that I’m not wearing any midriff-bearing tops or tiny tiny shorts to scandalize him with. LOL! In fact, I look quite the daddy’s little girl in my sweet black and white dress, don’t I? I even styled my hair all goody- two-shoes-y.

Hi, Ms. Camille! Just new with your blog, bumped-off with some other blogs I’m used to reading. And this is the first blog I read because it caught my eyes when I saw the “daddy’s girl” title because I’m a daddy’s girl, too! We are lucky because we have a father who loves us so much. Btw, I love your bracelet and ring. Where did you buy that? Thanks a lot and more power!

The infinity bracelet is from H&M I think. :) The rest are custom made by my mom’s jeweller. The diamond bands are custom-made as well. The rest are from H&M or F21 :)

I think it’s really fun and cute, and at the same time sweet to look at you both doing a bonding time. It’s cute because you’re dad’s age is not that suitable for using a very hi-tech gadgets. what he did was AWESOOOOMMMEEEE~
Ang galing ng daddy mo, Miss Cams! Bless you all! :)

Haha. I can relate! My mom is 63 years old and took my outfit shots at the Petronas towers. Before the trip, she underwent a 30-minute DSLR training with me. Haha. Parents are our number 1 fans!

Wow ate Cam, your father is really amazing in taking photos. He’s skilled! I can’t even take shots near how your father does. Everyone in your family seems to do so, you guys should open a photography service shop…..? Anyway, I really love your dress. It ebbs and flows like a wave. I especially love the combination of the shades: white and black. If I were to see that dress, I’d buy it cause secondly my father too will allow me to wear it because the black part is below. He doesn’t like any member of the family wearing black. Weird, right? It makes me want to have many black clothes and love the shade, making me the rebel kid, and a badbutt if I might add. And also the collar and the teeny-tiny sheer fabric around your shoulders make the dress more sophisticated.

And also the sudden red pop of your shoes, hihihi. It’s totally awesome. I love tassels.

Thank you for the inspiration today. God bless. I love you, gihihihihi. Oh yeah, I just saw your Olay interview commercial in ABS-CBN, and I was like: “GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. OMG OMG. It’s Camille… SI CAMILLE COOOOOO.” I was yelling and dancing like crazy (fangirling), and my family was like: “WTH wrong with yo child? Cream of mushrooms.”

I haven’t gone to BU6 yesterday, but I’ll make sure I’ll come to BU7. I seriously want to meet you in person, how fun would that be? Hihihi. Haytotallylovya. Hope to talk to you soon. God bless. <3

Thanks Mai! I actually know of some Chinese families who don’t allow the kids to wear black at all. I guess they have certain beliefs about it :) So you’re not alone haha! See you at BU7 hopefully!

I’m actually imagined him with the camera trying to balance on the floor, we being young can struggle but he did a fabulous job.

I am sooooo happy for you Ms. Camille! I remember when you told us that your dad was kind of strict since you have that Chinese blood (business) in you. But then, wow. He even took your outfit shot which means he really offers his supporting hands to you, regardless of the path that you traveled. *u*

I wonder how you ask him to do it for you? HAHAHA :DD
