Pins And Needles

So what look was I aiming for here? Porcupine? Golden cactus? Pin cushion? LOL! You know fashion, ever the practical art form, always taking inspiration from the things around us. If any of you are wondering, these little gold things aren’t sharp, so no, they’re not dangerous nor do they hurt. I’ve had this sweater for a long time now actually. When I first saw it in Hong Kong, I thought “wow, what a statement piece”. It’s definitely not your ordinary sweater. It’s the type of clothing that you just can’t tone down. No matter what you pair it with, it’ll always make you stand out. So why fight it? For its debut here on my blog, I styled it with an equally eye-catching skirt in black and gold. They make an interesting pair, don’t they?

Hype this look on Lookbook.nu here.

Real leather? If it’s real leather, you need to look for leather supplier. I haven’t sourced real leather yet though so I wouldn’t know. Try suppliers that sell materials for bags.

Ahh I wanted this top/dress from the very 1st time I laid eyes on it sa supplier ko, diba meron to all black? The model was wearing it as a dress, since she’s like 50 pounds lang naman lol super payat sya, for me I thought it would pass as a top pero I was pretty sure na snug-fit sya, pero now that I’ve seen you wear this, I’m so bummed I didn’t purchase it! Mummified nga lang ang peg ko nyan sa sikip haha..

Are these outfit shots taken in what city in the metro if not where? Your Alexander Wang shoes are so striking!

Oh my gednesss… pwede nang i prenda ang outfit mo! ahaha… The sweater looks really interesting, pero parang I get itchy when look at it up close, or is it because it looks thorny? hehehe… I love how you styled it. Parang I find it a challenge to style an interesting piece like that.

Whenever I read your blog, it’s always the shoes I’m eyeing for and try to recall what brand they are. I’m always like “Mango to eh, ay hindi F21!” or “Zanotti to for sure!” before I reached the part where you tag the brand. Haha. Ngayon lang ako nag comment, but believe me, I made sure I never missed any of your blogs, so “previous” button was prolly mad cause I hit it often way back when. :)) you and your style are both versatile! :*

Perfect match! Both the top and the skirt can stand alone (and be a scene stealer) then you put them together pa. :)

PERPEK! PAK NA PAK! Super love everything! On another note Camille… you have the 5s na diba? Ask ko lang how do you find the TouchID fingerprint scanner? Does it work flawlessly and hindi ba sya malakas makaubos ng battery when you keep using it? I’m planning to get the 5s kasi eh.

In terms of battery life, I don’t think so. It’s the same lang naman. The fingerprint works on one thumb only but works all the time :)
