When you think about luxury accommodations in Switzerland, the Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne easily comes to mind. This historical hotel has witnessed plenty of momentous occasions since 1861 and has been home to a lot of famous personalities like Victor Hugo, Charlie Chaplin, Coco Chanel, Nelson Mandela and Tina Turner. The hotel garnered so many awards as one of the best in the world. And now that I’ve stayed in it, I can see why. It’s even more gorgeous in real life than in pictures! I’m glad I got to experience it even for just a few days. Thank you Parmigiani Fleurier! This is luxury at its finest–a beautiful art decó and neo-baroque structure, 4 hectares of grandeur on the shores of Lake Geneva and a view of the Alps.
You’ll see a few photos of my last night with Parmigiani Fleurier as well. I was so inspired to dress up for it because I knew we were going to celebrate it at the hotel. When you’re in a place like this, you just want to dress extravagantly. I wish I brought gowns with me! LOL! Gowns, everyday!
