Flowers are starting to blossom more than ever in most parts of the world so I thought I’d join in and wear my prettiest floral dress ever. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s as if the the flowers on my dress are real, like they were pressed, preserved then attached onto my dress. If you’re wondering where I got this exquisite dress from, it’s from young Danish Prêt-à-Porter brand YDE Copenhagen. I first came to know of the brand a few months ago and I’ve admired it ever since. YDE Copenhagen’s aesthetic is very feminine, sophisticated and romantic–much like my own style. I especially love its Spring/Summer 2014 collection which you can find on their website. Trust me, you’ll fall in love with the collection too! You can also watch YDE Copenhagen’s latest A/W 2014 collection shown last Paris Fashion Week here.
Back to my outfit. As I was saying, because I’m wearing the most beautiful floral dress with the liveliest print and colors on it, I thought I’d keep my accessories simple. Nothing big and bulky, just dainty accessories to match my dainty dress. My favorite here is the necklace I’m wearing. If you scroll down, you’ll see that it’s actually a locket filled with meaningful charms I picked out. It’s called a time capsule necklace, produced by local accessory brand August 8. I had so much fun choosing which charms to put in my locket–a diamond letter “C” charm, my birth stone, the Eiffel Tower, a diamond infinity charm, the word “love”, a star and a few more stones to add a bit of color. These represent the things I love, hope for and believe in. Maybe in a few years, these will change so I’ll be updating my time capsule necklace wit new charms by then. How about you? What would you put in your time capsule now? And what would you put in it in 5 years?
