Shooting Star

If I wish upon the shooting stars on my romper, will my wish come true still? Probably not. I’m not even sure if they’re shooting stars. You know how abstract prints are, you can never be certain with them. Heck, this print can be anything from a spider web to paint splats! But come on, let’s face it–shooting stars trump spider webs and paint splats, anytime. So here I am, channelling a fashionable superhero from space, inspired by the constellation of stars on my romper. LOL! That doesn’t even make sense. Truthfully speaking, I just really found this romper to have a bit of a futuristic appeal, hence the styling. What do you think?

I looooove your cape! I’ve been looking all over for the perfect white cape and I thought the wait was over when I scooted over to Ministry of Retail but they don’t seem to have the same item anymore.:(

Lovely OOTD! If you don’t mind me asking, where’s that playground located?

I love this romper! So unique. Too bad it’s not available locally. :( I love your silver accessories as well!

This is not related to your outfit but I really noticed this: there are too many writings on that awesome playground thing (the red one). It really makes me sad when people vandalize those pretty things. :(

love the neck details of the romper! if you were to put a necklace or any accessory there, what type would it be?

    Reply
    • Camille Co

Probably a necklace that’ll look like it’s actually part of the collar so it has to be short and silver :)

Out of this world, Miss Camille! The starry-nebula design of this romper is totally a scene stealer. My eye was immediately drawn to the noticeable layers of print in the light streaks and stars. Since the top part has a pretty collar area, the focus will be on that detail. As for the bottom, the shapes of the light streaks keep you guessing as to what constellations are present.

I also admire the ‘party in the back’ detail which makes this look also great for a transition of day to night. Your white cape makes the piece fresh and put together: great for daytime duties. As soon as the sun sets, cape off, and voila! Instant evening glam!

The red shoes and clutch look so rebellious. :-D The color is sweet against the sunlight, but it boasts of defying trends and OWNING the look itself.

P.S. Noticed your pretty pedicure color! Can’t decide whether they’re an intergalactic blue, or a dark seafoam blue. :-D

I think it’s a little powder blue with a bit of lilac. Haha! I’m confused as well. Thanks Angelic! I always appreciate your comments! :) And yes, the party in the back is my favorite!

That’s one fun romper. I think your hair adds to that superhero vibe you are talking about here. (Well that and the fact that you are beautiful ^^)
If I have learned one thing about fun prints like this one is that whether you are going to pull it off or not depends on the country you live in. I don’t think I could pull off this romper in Macedonia without having people stare at me weirdly. But if I could I would because it looks awesome on you! ^^

LOL! I think the hair does add to that! Thanks Dilek! I wonder what Macedonia looks like. It would be great to visit one day!
