Hello Again, Hong Kong

You know how when you love something, even the tiniest details make you a little bit happier? That’s how I feel whenever I walk the streets of Hong Kong and hear its traffic lights make those warning sounds. They’re music to my ears! It’s like they’re greeting me, “welcome back, Camille!” And just like that, I feel a little skip in my walk. I’m sure you all know how much I love this city. So much so that I know my way around it more than I know my way around Manila! (Not that I love Manila any less.) I’m always in Hong Kong and I keep doing the same things here but even so, I never grow tired of it. It’s probably this feeling of familiarity that makes me keep wanting to come back.

Hi I’m Michelle am representing an US listed company which specializes in anti-aging skincare and healthcare products. Recently I am working on a big project, as my company is about to launch a new innovative skincare device in Hong Kong this year, perhaps you have already seen it on many newspaper, magazines and from social media, the growth is so fast. I believe it has a lot of potentials and I am looking for the right people to work with, do you have time this coming week for a coffee?

Don’t you ever get old? lmao! okay, no. I don’t want you to get old.

I really love tops like the one you’re wearing but I’m not good in shopping clothes so I really don’t find boxy tops. And holly molly! The skirt is super beautiful. Pero, Miss, di ba masyadong mahangin sa legs? hehehe. It looks too flare(?).

OMG your Chanel espadrilles are to die foooooor! Ang classy… Ang swerte mo, kasi the CC mark for Chanel can also mean CC for Camille Co. haha.

What kind of skirt are you wearing? Hindi kasi ako familiar sa clothing jargon (I usually have to describe things in detail na may matching hand movements pa)… I love that kind of skirt kasi it makes your legs look slimmer and longer. I have a feeling na it would work well on me kasi it would also make me look taller (I’m petite with short torso/long legs proportion).

    Hi Ms. Camille,
I’m a long time fan/lurker of your style and blog. I just have a simple fashion question.
I will be going to HK for the first time by the end of November. What are the staple clothes that I should pack?
They said it’ll be colder there compared to the Phils. esp that time of the year.
I would really appreciate your reply.
Thank you and more power. :)

Yes it’ll be colder by then. I don’t really get cold much so a light coat and a few layers are good. :)

I prefer that leather Chanel espradilles over those “cotton-ish” ones. :) Love the shoes and bag! :)

Hi Camille! I have been your follower since God knows when and I have this never ending dilemma regarding boobs :(. I know you have been telling people you are not gifted with bigger ones. But do you know if there are chances to atleast fill an A-cup? :( I’m already 23. And I always look at your photos but you seem to have both your babies a little fuller. And I don’t know if you use padded bras and all or you just get it thru vitamins or whatnot. I have met you already once in Candy Fair and God you looked like a living Barbie huhu and you were so beautiful. It is only lately that I have read your boob comments and posts that I decided to ask you this. I know everyone says it doesn’t matter but IT DOES and I just want to know how do you deal with it. Mine aren’t even same size and do not even fill a 32A bra. I’m sorry this is so frustrating. I just would like to know your opinion. I hope you can make a separate post about this (without sounding too unclassy or whatever) but just some thing we, flat chested can do. I hope you can email me if this doesn’t sound good to answer in public.

I love you Camille huhu! Thank u for always inspiring people like me :’)

Thanks R! You’re not alone. The trick is really to find the right bra for you. If you can’t find a nice padded bra, there are brands that sell size AA too or petite ones. If you don’t mind putting fillers, some lingerie stores sell those as well. You put these inside your bra to add more push-up effect :)

Wow! Hong Kong! I’ll be going there next month so I’m really excited. It’ll actually be my first time outside the country. :) On my list, of course, is Disney Land. Can you recommend any other places to see, restaurants, and shopping areas that’s near Lantau Island?

Oh gosh Lantau is so far so you really have no choice but to go to the city center. My favorite places are Causeway Bay and Central :) You must go to Yung Kee to eat!
