Pattern Play

In life, you need a little spontaneity. Without it, you just might be missing out on the best memories you’ll ever make. My recent trip to Hong Kong is a testament to this. My friends and I were just hanging out one night during the holidays when we suddenly thought of booking this trip. Boy was it the fastest group decision we’ve ever made! Weeks passed and soon enough, we found ourselves in Hong Kong, ready to take the city by storm. Needless to say, the trip was epic! We ate like there’s no tomorrow, danced the nights away and laughed until our eyes teared up. Of course, we did all this and more while making sure to squeeze a few OOTDs in.

Here’s my first OOTD during this trip–something fun and quirky to suit the mood. There are 4 different patterns at play here in total. Can you spot them?

I really like how you played with the patterns! Especially, the detail on your coat! But if I were you, I wouldn’t wear those shoes, it is kind of making the look eye-straining, what do you think? All in all, you look amazing!

How can you pair four different patterns without looking overdressed?! Hoooow? Lol. But seriously you can really pull off all print on print, pattern with pattern, color blocking etc! And one more thing I noticed with you is that you never look bulky even though you have tons of clothes on your body hahaha. Maybe because you’re tall and thin unlike me short and chubby so whenever I try to mix and match I look so bulky *sigh* anyways, spontaneous trips are indeed the best especially when you’re with crazy friends! Hahaha! My spontaneous trips with my bffs were always the best too :) glad you enjoyed your trip ate cams :)

Thanks Clariss! I guess my body type is one of the reasons for that but also, I make sure to balance everything off. :) It’s all about the right mix of layers :)

And the Best Jumpshot Blogger Pose goes to *drum roll* YOU! Haha flawless jumpshots! I envy them. I look goof ball in all my jumpshot photos. Hahahaha anyway, love the balancing of the outfit. I love how to mix match all the patterns and paired it with a pink coat that seems to really fit in with the whole whole.

This outfit is a mixture of girly and edgy. I like how you mixed pastel and black and white! And it looks comfortable too. And how I wish I could wear coats like that during winter. I’m small and looks bulky every time I attempt wearing one. Any tips?? Thank you :D

Hmmm show a bit of skin if you’re not afraid of the cold. :) A little skin can balance it off :)

You ate like there’s no tomorrow? You’re sexy pa rin Cams. Unfair. Haha. About the prints… Yes I spotted them! I love what you did here Cams. Everything looks super chic given the color palette dynamics. I wish my friends and I could travel like that too but we’ve got to save more pa. In the future perhaps.

PS: Your jumping shot skills are epic!

As I look at the leggings for a longer time, the prints made me dizzy yet the coat balanced it. Stylish and comfy at the same time! :) And I seldom see you wear leggings Miss Camille! :) I’ve read your very old post on the don’ts of wearing them, so true! :D
