Electrifying

My loyal readers know this–I used to shy away from bold lippies. It’s only been a few years since I started gaining an appreciation for them. If you’re like the old me who always plays it safe with nude and pastel lippies, allow me to convince you to come to the dark, rather bright and bold, side. You see, when you’re a little lazy to dress up, bold lippies can dramatically amp up your look. Don’t believe me? Take a look at my style post for today. I’m in a simple tank and trousers combo–plain, monochromatic, neutral, basic. But with just one swipe of L’Oreal’s Lincoln Rose lipstick, I was able to transform my look from ordinary to statement-making.

If you’re not quite ready for this deliciously red color, don’t worry. L’Oreal Makeup Desiger/PARIS‘ new Color Riche Electric collection offers 4 other hues from electric fuschia to electric orange. It comes in 3 matte shades–Glamour Fuchsia, Lincoln Rose, and Orange Power, and 2 satin shades–Pop Up Pink and Touch of Amaranth. (See lip swatches on the last photo. You’re welcome.) That’s 5 ultra-bold, ultra-trendy, yet easily wearable lipstick shades you can play with this summer to help you brighten up your look and take it to the next level.

A bold lipstick is our secret weapon, ladies. Use it wisely. #GoElectric.

From left to right: Pop Up Pink, Orange Power, Glamour Fuchsia and Touch of Amaranth. (I’m wearing Lincoln Rose with my outfit.) FYI, Color Riche’s unique formula contains not only luxurious rich color from concentrated pigments but also, nourishing Jojoba and Argan oils to keep your lips intensely colored while staying ultra-hydrated all day. This is why it’s a major win in my book. L’Oreal’s Color Riche lipsticks are sold at P499 for a limited time only.

Although I’m not much of a fan because I hate the creamy feeling, I’d like to stick to my bold eyebrows nalang lol. Haha but yes, bold lippies can make a simple outfit from casual to fab :)

Red Lippies~ Maybe one thing that could totally make a girl turn into a real woman is having this classic red lips. :) I remember Taylor swift, she used to wear that pink shades and so do you too from which that made you both look so sweet and charming. But now as the time goes by, look at you now, so matured! Turning into womanhood scares me off at first, but seeing you having fun all the way and that classic wasn’t actually boring and is cool too, I think I am ready to embrace womanhood now. :) Thanks for being such an awesome inspiration!

Hi ate Camille! I just finished watching your interview with Mr. Abunda. I firmly believe in the answers that you said and stood up for. I also believe to what Mr. Abunda said, “The best is yet to come.” Thank you for being our inspiration and motivation. Thank you for being the “Versatile Camille” for us. Xiexie!

This is such a pretty outfit Camille and you’re right a bold lip does make the outfit more dressed up. I usually like matching my lip color to what I’m wearing. Also I need to get my hands on those lippies as the colors look amazing and great prices too.

Loooove that red lippie! I’ve always loved bright, bold lipsticks but mostly in red shades. What color would you recommend to dark-skinned people like me? :)

By the way, that outfit is a stunner! With or without the bold lips, you still would have attracted attention <3 Oh and I know I've said this before but I really wish I had your height!

My bf got me an Estee Lauder instead, my first time to try. Next time, I’ll buy those shades Miss Camille! :) I used to apply nude and light shades only but the scorching heat is inspiring me to try darker ones so I wouldn’t look pale and dry :D
