Second Skin

Women and lace, they go hand in hand like bacon and eggs, coffee and milk, peanut butter and jam…(I’ll stop the comparisons here before I make you hungry.) I’m sure you get the picture. In my opinion, no other fabric understands women like lace does. Whenever a woman dons a lace number, her femininity shines through effortlessly. It just comes so naturally–never forced and always in sync. This is why I’ve always loved using lace as a designer. I see how it looks on my clients and how it makes them feel–radiant, blooming and most of all, beautiful.

I totally agree. Lace is definitely a woman’s bestfriend (next to diamonds Lol). You do shine and look effortlesly classy, blooming, and beautiful. Love how you minimized your accessories on order for the dress to become the center of attention. <3

You look so stunning like a budding flower. You stand out among the rest of the flowers in the garden. So if you were, I will pick you out first! Hihi

How have you been? I have internet load these next few days, so I’ve been catching up with your blog. Hope you are doing well. I’m still reeling from your travel posts and summer outfits! :-)

The dress is very airy and light, Miss Camille. The pattern of the lace is especially eye-catching: thicker curliques, a larger pattern, and a different texture. It speaks of after-work dates or a subdued evening out with friends. You look classy and sophisticated, but in a youthful, whimsical way, like you’re on a quest to find a new cafe’ to try during the busy city nights.

Kudos to each pose you posted here as well. I love the 4th photo especially. Your look says “follow me!” It’s a bit of drama that adds to the simple silhouette of your dress. The entire theme of this entry looks like an editorial spread for the transition season! :-)

I totally agree, laces add so much femme points. They look beautiful even without putting jewelries. I feel like a humble flower whenever I wear them :)

Oh wow! You’re always so classy and beautiful Cams. I agree. I am such a sucker for lace as well. I even hoard them for my craft projects. I really like this dress on you. If not for my summer belly bulge, I would wear this. Haha! On a different note, If memory serves me right you sold a lace black dress in last year’s BU! Whoever got it was so lucky. Will you be at BU this Saturday?
