In The Trenches

Let’s be honest. Gowns aren’t really the most comfortable things to wear. This is why as much I love the glitz and glamour of formal events, they can sometimes feel like a huge hassle. There are boning/corsets that suffocate the air out of you, the long trains that everyone steps on, the tricky designs that can cause wardrobe malfunctions and so on and so forth.

This particular dress though is an exception. I can’t remember the last time I felt this comfortable in a long dress (except in my own designs of course. *cough* *cough*). I can move freely in it because it’s not tight anywhere. There’s a slit right in front so it’s easy to walk in it without tripping 100 times. It’s simple, effortlessly chic and unpretentious. I think I need to get more of this type of dresses.

I really love this dress on you Cams! Plus points for being comfy as you said. I agree that sometimes formal events are such a hassle because many gowns aren’t as comfy and well heels always give me blisters. Yikes! About corsets though… I remember a few years back during my graduation ball where we had to wear one because of the vintage theme. It wasn’t tight but it didn’t allow for stretch.

I remember, I also have one before! I fell in love with the blazer dress when I saw it for the first time when Kim K wearing the Balmain dress and Georgina Wilson wore it also in Star Magic Ball…speaking of Balmain, you seems not interested with his collaboration with H&M? You’re quite during the commotion kc hehehe! Lovely as ever ;)
