VLOG: 3 Sweet-Looking Braided Hairstyles For Prom

If you don’t have the luxury of going to a hairdresser or stylist to do your hair for prom, don’t fret! I’ve come up with 3 super easy, sweet-looking braided hairstyles you can cop–starting off with a half-up, half down braided hairstyle, a braided ponytail and finally a braided updo.

I know braids can be intimidating for some but don’t let this stop you from giving these hairstyles a try. I used to only know how to do a french braid ponytail, but with tons of practice and a whole lot of Youtube hair tutorials, I finally got the hang of it and even picked up new braid techniques along the way. So let me serve as your inspiration! If I can do it, so can you!

i love there hair post but can u do do something related to long hair. and by long hair i mean really long hair Can y all do another one like this except with more looks that would work for girls with shorter relaxed hair? I really love looking at all your hair posts it s just that most of the time I don t feel represented because I can t do most of the looks.

Sadly I never had a prom in my life. If ever I will be given a chance to have a prom. I will definitely give these braided hairstyles a try. :)

Do it for casual days! Just don’t don the sparkly hair band :)

Hi Camille! I love this tutorial! It made me reminisce my prom days. <3

May I ask what kind of products do you use to maintain the healthiness of your hair? I mean, you must have dyed your hair several times and went from different transitions, but your hair always looks so healthy! Don't you ever experience a lot of hair fall due to the amount of chemicals your hair absorbs whenever you dye your hair?

I apologize for asking a series of questions. I have never dyed my hair before, and I am extremely afraid that I may experience a lot of hair fall, split ends, etc. Moreover, I do not live in a tropical country, so my hair tends to lose it's moisture.

Thank you so much, you have always been an inspiration. I simply love your style! Stay classy!

I just do a lot of treatments whenever I can. Salon or home treatments are super helpful! :) Also, invest in hair products that protect your hair from damage, like creams and oils. In my own opinion, bleaching your hair is the most damaging really. Just dyeing without bleaching is still manageable :)
