Of Gardens and Parks

Last year was a year filled with visits to Singapore which means I’ve got a pretty hefty amount of backlogs taken in the Lion City kept hidden here in my drive. This is why I thought it’s about time to lessen these and share my Singapore style posts with you.

As you may know, Singapore’s weather doesn’t really differ that much from the Philippine’s. It’s super hot there too so there isn’t much to adjust to in the styling department. I do feel, however, that it’s more humid in Singapore. (But then again, it might just be because I actually walk around the city and commute there as opposed to hiding in air-conditioned rooms and cars all the time whenever I’m in Manila.) So to beat the heat, a simple shirt and shorts combo should do the trick–especially when I’m in for an afternoon picnic at the Singapore Botanic Garden. Would you believe that it’s actually my first time to visit this beautiful park? Yes, even after visiting Singapore a gazillion times! It’s because I always seem to get stuck at Orchard Road and Haji Lane. LOL. I wonder why.
