Travel Diary: Beautiful Sumilon

Despite the series of unfortunate events I encountered in Bluewater Sumilon Island Resorts (read about them here), I was still happy with how my trip to the island turned out. I got to spend some quality beach time, swim with whale sharks, snorkel above corals, dine by the beach and best of all, make new memories with my blogger besties. Bluewater Sumilon definitely made me feel that life is beautiful–even with knee infections, eye allergies and all. Thank you for the wonderful time, Bluewater! You’re a gem!

    Hi, Camille!

Thanks for sharing your experience in Sumilon. We’re thinking of doing a team building of some sort and it seems like Sumilon is a good place to relax and enjoy.

Bluewater Sumilon Island is actually one of the best resorts we’ve ever booked in. Did you try walking around the island and visiting the watchtower right in the middle of it? We also participated in a reef cleanup and coral planting activity there. :)

Oh jealous! That sounds like so much fun! We only did one day trip. I wasn’t able to go to the watch tower though. I got an infection + fever during the trip so I had to rest :(

I love all the one piece swimsuit you’ve worn here. Where did you bought your high-waist denim shorts? :)

Nice post! I’ve been here to Sumilon as well (I’m Cebuana, it’s a must LOL) but I never took such very good photos. Will definitely go back until I am able to do it the Camille-tries-to-blog way ;)

P.S. I saw you at the Philippines International FUrniture Show (PIFS) last March. Took a photo with you, of course (though I’m very sorry for interrupting) but thank you so much. I was fangirling the whole time, so thank you. You can see the photo on my IG:

Camille, did you hear about the foreigners and one Filipina recently kidnapped at a resort for ransom? :( What are your tips to avoid getting into that situation? Thanks for the great post!!

Oh no, where did this happen? I think you just really have to research about the place’s security and accessibility
