My Hong Kong Trip

For those of you who have been following me since I started blogging, you must know Hong Kong has always held a special place in my heart–which is why no matter how many times I’ve been to the country, I don’t think there will ever come a time I’d grow tired of it. If someone tells me, “let’s go to Hong Kong!” I’d always answer with a big fat, extra ecstatic YES!!!

And a big, fat, extra ecstatic YES was indeed what I answered when the Hong Kong Tourism Board invited me to experience Hong Kong’s Winterfest last December. It was a quick 3 day 2 night trip, but it was more than enough for me to get all my shopping and dining and sightseeing in. Usually, since I’ve already been to Hong Kong so many times, I just eat and shop to my heart’s content and don’t really go around to see the sights anymore. But this time, I wanted to feel the Christmas spirit and really go around Hong Kong to see what the Winterfest has to offer. And there they were: the biggest Christmas Tree I’ve ever seen located right smack in the middle of Statue Square; a beautiful Christmas edition of the Symphony of Lights show by Hong Kong’s harbour; and a super cool Hong Kong Pulse 3D Christmas Show playing on the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and TST Clock Tower facades. It was the best pre-Christmas trip ever, spent with my love Joni and blogger bestie Lissa. Although it’s only been 2 months since our visit, writing about it now already makes me want to go back to Hong Kong ASAP! Maybe I should try my luck and join UnionPay’s “Spend and Win Business Class Tickets” promo! Who knows, I might just win tickets to Hong Kong!

Until the end of this month, UnionPay Cardholders can submit entries to the promo at www.UnionPaySpendAndWin.com.ph. To qualify, you must first register on the website and then shop and dine using your UnionPay card! It’s as easy as that. Every PhP 500 spent in a single transaction is equivalent to one raffle entry–which gives you a chance to win a pair of Business Class roundtrip tickets from Philippine Airlines (PAL) to Hong Kong, Taipei, or Seoul!

Must find all my UnionPay card slips from all the shopping and dining I did in Hong Kong! You’ll never know, I might just find myself back in the city–for free. All thanks to UnionPay.

OMG yaaas an OG blog post! I haven’t been to Hong Kong or abroad for that matter but this trip and many others make me feel as if I’ve been to those places too. I love the photos Cams and the new layout you just did with them. It reminds me of something I’d see on a glossy magazine. I also really love the vlog of this trip. The first look is my favorite. I just hope it gets cool enough here to wear one. Hehe. :)
