Taking a quick break from the travel posts for now with this new outfit post from my good old city.

If you asked me a long time ago if I can live without makeup, I’d probably tell you yes. But ever since I started blogging, I’m pretty sure my answer to that has changed. I see my photos everyday. And each time, I’d notice how makeup can make or break my OOTDs. Of course, there are days I just don’t feel like putting makeup on. You’ve even witnessed a few of those days here. You know those OOTDs wherein I’m donning a pair of sunnies and a bright shade of lipstick? Those are my lazy days. You see, I can skimp on everything else except my lips. Believe me when I say a beautifully-colored set of lips can do wonders. Which brings me to my new discovery–L’Oreal Paris’ new Color Riche line.

I got to try them just a few days ago and I must say, I’m impressed. Being a lipstick girl, my lips can get a little chapped and dry from all the lipsticks I’ve been applying. This is the downside of my wanting to have beautifully-colored lips all the time. But when I tried L’Oreal Paris’ Color Riche Le Rouge lipstick in Sakura Petal to be exact, I was pleasantly surprised. It felt so moisturizing and was so easy and smooth to apply. And unlike other super moisturizing lipsticks, its color actually looks rich and lasts a long time. Just look at my photos! Apparently, the secret behind Color Riche Le Rouge’s incomparable richness in texture and color is a blend of luxurious Lotus, Argan and Rose oils.

Color Riche also has a line of matte lipsticks called Moist Matte. Ten colors of the deepest velvet matte lipsticks that go beyond red and includes nude, orange and pink hues. I’m really excited to try these as well because I love matte lipsticks. The only thing I hate about them is how they can tend to make my lips extra dry. But since L’Oreal Paris’ Moist Matte lipstick has Omega-3, Vitamin E and Argan oil, I’m sure it’s as creamy as the Le Rouge lipsticks. For this look however, I chose to wear my Le Rouge lipstick in Sakura Petal. I’ve got little angels on my skater skirt and dainty flower embellishments on my blouse, so soft hued lips are more suitable. I’m saving my Moist Matte lippies for another OOTD. Wait for it!

    I love Matte lipsticks as well but as you said, it sucks the life out of those lips. But if these ones have Argan oil, Omega and Vitamin E, then these lipsticks are extra special and I would love to collect them. I definitely have to give them a try.

    Belated Happy Valentine’s Day, Miss Camille! This is one cute outfit! The sweetness of all the pieces is so YOU.

    I appreciate the effect of the sweet cherubs of your skirt against the background of sky blue. Your white top gives you a kind of natural spotlight. (I saw the glow on your face!) I even couldn’t decide whether your earrings are flowers or snowflakes! :-D Much love on your rings as well. The braided one on your middle finger is my favorite!

    The color shade you chose for your lipstick does remind me of the cherry blossom, its namesake. Your lips look fuller in your closeup photo. I also admire the effect of the pink on the bow of your upper lip. I think these new Color Riche shades offer a fuller pout effect.

    P.S. I (guiltily)covet your satchel. when I saw the leather interlaced with the chain lacing, my brain just went “MUST. HAVE!” :-D

    Love the lippie you’re wearing Cams! All throughout my make-up experiments I found out pinks and neutrals suit me best. The one on you is a winner! I should definitely have one. Love your eye make-up too… Looking forward to your make-up tutorial soon. You see for a Chinita like me (and you)I find it hard to do eyes since one: it’s chinky and most tutorials teach how to do it on deep set eyes and two: the lack of an eyelid fold. But I love my eyes anyway. I just want to know how to complement them the way you do… Hay nako eto nanaman ako… Talking too much. Haha.

    PS: The braid suits you. Parang Katniss Everdeen lang ang peg. ;)

      I have a friend who doesn’t have eyelid folds as well! Have you tried eyelid tapes? They totally look great on her! :) And of course, smokey eyes are our friends :)

    I’m excited to try these lipsticks, especially the matte ones (I’m obsessed with matte colors!). You and I are the same during our lazy days… I just put on a fabulous pair of sunnies, swipe on a bright bold lipstick, and I’m good to go!

    I love that Sakura Petal color on you, but since my skin color is darker than you, is there any particular shade you could recommend to me? :) I love reds and light pinks, but I’m always conscious because I don’t want my lipstick color to make me look darker than I am (LOL. Common Filipina problem… I try to be as white as possible despite my genes dictating that I’m strictly morena)

    The skirt is a beautiful piece. Your makeup is sweet and i like the natural look to it. Quite a huge collection of lipsticks there but at least they come in various gorgeous colors. Great look.
