As some of you may know, I flew to Guam for Shop Guam Festival a few months back. Now that it’s 2015, I think it’s high time that I share this trip with you, starting with my first OOTD taken there. Here’s what I wore the day I flew from Manila to Guam. I wanted to be comfortable on the four-hour flight so I opted to wear loose-fitting clothes and topped them off with a blazer that I can easily remove when I arrive in the hot city. This particular blazer is actually perfect for traveling. Since it’s a knit and not woven blazer, it doesn’t get creases/wrinkles easily. Put it inside your luggage or wear it on a long flight and it still looks presentable. So for all you travel bugs out there, make sure you add knit blazers in your travel essentials!
Chanel earrings | Mango circle pendant necklace | Gorjana horn necklace | Zara top | She Inside blazer | Egoist shorts | Cêline bag | Zara heels
The views are so cool and your clothes so cute. i like it so much.. :)
Thank you Chantel!
Nice blazer, Miss Camille!! Ive been wanting to shop from online stores like Sheinside but im quite scared of taxes id have to pay extra when they arrive here. Do you still pay for custom duties or taxes whenever you order stuff and have them sent to your home? If you do, does it cost that much? Thanks!
With She Inside, it depends. Sometimes yes sometimes no. I don’t know why too! Trying ordering one item muna then see :)
This beautiful bag dominated landscape :)
Haha! :)
Lovee the shorts, it’s not like your typical short shorts. It’s so comfortable like you don’t have to worry about people eyeing in your legs or something and it’s so chic! I’d definitely add knitted blazer in my travel what-to-pack list hahaha :) And your bag, someday, I’ll save up for that babyy!
Thanks Katrin! Totally worth it investments :)
Travelling in style has never looked so leisurely! I love this, Miss Camille! Long flights do call for comfortable pieces. I think you pegged a good get-up on these simple clothes. The eyes are drawn to the knit-sweater’s pattern first and then I saw how your top and shorts went into seamless play for the Guam city weather.
This ensemble tells of work AND play. The whole feel just gives me the idea of having business meetings at resorts and hotels where one can show the client that the deal about to be done isn’t all about stiff and rigid formality. It’s also about letting the client get to know you outside of the workplace. Laid-back as it is, I’m glad you chose textures that define prim essentials. The top is silky, and the color is neutral. Definitely A-form. Your shorts present your subtle color palette, and it put the whole outfit together because of its crisp silhouette. I think the soft blue went great with your gold accessories and white shoes.
Now for your bag: it was a deviation from your relaxed theme on the outfit. The different colors of leather in earthy tones is so business-casual. I also think it’s a great jetsetter bag. The outline of the bag itself is an aesthetic punch. I saw it and instantly thought of you as an undercover agent. One of those secret-ally Bond Girls. Well played. :-D
Wow! I like how you imagined that whole undercover agent theme! :) Totally had me thinking as well :)
amazing place. :) great view to see. :) love your outfit ate cams. :)
Thank you Maebs!
A knit blazer! I’ll keep that in mind Cams. I love your makeup so much. Para kang nagpa-spa/ mani-pedi while on flight sa super fresh ng aura mo.
