A Look Back

The number 8 has always been my favorite number. It’s also believed to be a lucky number for the Chinese. So for my first post this 2015, I thought I’d compile 88 of my favorite outfits from the past year for extra good luck. It’s nice to take a second and browse through the 20+ pages this blog has produced in 2014, just to see how my style has evolved the previous year and how much more it will change in the years to come. I have to say though, I’m quite happy with each and everyone of my entries. Although I can’t say the same for the years that came before 2014, I’m thankful that not one of 2014’s style posts make me want to cringe, hit my head against the wall and tell myself, “what on earth was I thinking?” I’m sure some of you may disagree with me. Others may find a few style misses here and there. But for me, I like them all. This isn’t to say I think I’m a fashion queen who can do no wrong. I’m far from that. It just goes to show that maybe I’ve found my voice when it comes to my personal style and there’s no longer room for second guesses and compromises. I’ve become a confident young woman who’s comfortable in her own skin and brave enough to come into her own fashion persona. And this ladies and gents is the reason why I know my 2015 is going to be awesome.

    Ahhhhh it feels like yesterday since I found you on the style pages located at the last page of the Candy magazine then searched for the Coexist’s page in Multiply then eventually found your blog and it was still in Tumblr then! Found out that you switched, I clicked the link and eureka! I backread everything since your blog was hust starting but you already had 52 pages. I visited everyday to read few blog posts until I arrived to your latest. Been a reader ever since! I also made sure that I read all your posts since I’ve read everything from the bottom already. You’ve been great before and you’re still getting better! Really hope you continue what you’re doing, Ate Cams and that fate woukd allow us to meet soon! All the love x

    Major nostalgic post!!! Oh my, so hard to pic a favorite since I love each and every outfit you posted the past year. And ohh, don’t get me wrong but for me, you’re a fashion queen! You’ve inspired and will inspire so many people out there/here to become confident with their own personal styles and I think it’s one of a major qualities of a fashion queen (okay, I’m totally making that one up, but i think it’s true). Not to mention you’re so humble, down to earth, sexy, beautiful, smart, goal oriented and many more. Haha All hail to the Queen!!

    My favorites would be your Diamond in the Rough outfit post (haha i totally remember the title haha), your Spain outfit posts, your outfit posts featuring Style Staple, and the Belle of the Ball outfit post! :) Looking forward to more outfit posts to love this year.

    PS: Yes, 2015 is going to be awesome and so is 2016 and 2017 and 2018… because you’re awesome and you’re personal style is awesome!! :)

    Ahhhhh It’s soooooooo hard to choose which one is my favorite! Almost all of your looks are my fave!     Wow this is so hard. It’s like choosing a nail polish color. hahaha! But I have to say my favorite look would be the one where you were in a white sweater embellished with gold accents paired with denim shorts. That’s my fave look. Casual and wearable while still looking fab haha! You truly are the Queen Ate Cams! All hail Queen CC, lol! But I do have a question Ate Cams, how can you describe your style last year? or your style in general :)

    It’s so hard to choose which one’s my favorite (everything seems sooo perfect) but I’ll have to go with the one where you’re wearing a utility jacket with leather sleeves (LOL, dunno if my description is right).     Even if I won’t look at the photos posted Miss Camille, I’m certain my favorite post of yours this 2014 was when you wore a white corset paired with black disco pants, black fedora hat and white pumps.As far as I can remember, I think you were part of an outfit challenge :) I envy how straight your legs are :D Haha
    And what’s common with all the photos? YOU NEVER GAINED WEIGHT! :D You even got slimmer and sexier! I know its hard to maintain ones figure, and I salute you for that very sexy Camille! :) Sooooooo looking forward to more lessons teacher :D

    I honestly think that all your looks are beautiful. It’s not only because that the clothes and shoes itself are pretty but because you can pull it off! :) in the past I always tried to copy some of your looks but it doesn’t work for me, then I realized that I should know my body type and the different cuts and style of clothes that will surely be best for my body. That’s what I learned in the past year thanks to you :))

    My favorite looks of yours? All your ootds in korea, the black floral skirt which is truly beautiful, the gold suit which is very unique!, the gown woth pockets, and the one that you wore in the style ko ayos dito event :)
