Rubbing Shoulders

When rain starts to pour, you know summer is almost over… at least here in the Philippines. I thought I’d be happy when this day comes. It’s been so hot these past months, getting out of the comforts of an air-conditioned room has been a constant struggle. So understandably, with the rainy season around the corner, small gusts of wind in tow, you’d think I’d be happy with this change. But to my surprise, I don’t think I’m ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, especially when I see all these photos from my recent beach escapades.

Floppy hat on, shoulders out, golden glow ready–summer, don’t leave me just yet.

    I totally agree with the feels. I don’t want summer to end too but it’s just sooooo hot these past few months specially I’m a commuter. Good thing tho, we girls don’t sweat, we sparkle! Lol my eyes turned in to heart shape the moment I saw the romper. It’s soooo chic and definitely cute. I want one too. And i noticed that you’re blooming hehe :)

    Off-shoulder pizzazz, Miss Camille! This romper should evolve from on-trend to closet basic. Those tassels at the bottom are cool to watch in motion when you do your poses. As for the top ruffle, it stretches well to form great shapes as you move about. It’s like watching Renaissance-Spanish style come to modern cuts. :-) I can picture you with a dainty bamboo fishing pole near a koi fish pond, deep in your thoughts.

    I particularly love the under-brim pattern of your floppy hat. The different earth-toned rings remind me of native candies. Even your colorful bracelets and gold donut pendant are making me hungry. :-)

    I have to say, some animators should base a character on you, Miss Camille! Something along the lines of Avatar: The Last Airbender, or Legend of Korra. You look like you stepped out of a comic. :-) The second photo, especially. Breakfast at Tiffany’s, poolside version. Summer’s not over yet! :-)
