Last October, I was fortunate enough to be invited by one of my favorite airlines, Qatar Airways, to be part of its inaugural flight to Helsinki, Finland. And I’m finally sharing a snippet of my trip with you guys through this vlog!
I’ve been wanting to visit Finland for quite some time now. Given that my boyfriend is Finnish, I’ve always been curious about his home country. Tucked all the way in the northern part of Europe, Finland is known for the beauty of its lakes, Nokia and Santa Claus. (LOL. This is how my boyfriend describes his homeland. I just typed it verbatim. I kid you not.)
I hope that through this video, you’re able to get to know Finland better. It’s a really fun video filled with lots of Helsinki’s bests, some of my random dancing, a peek into my jet lag hits and a few sweet surprises along the way. If you’re itching for more of Finland, don’t you worry. I also plan to post several travel photos with more details on what we did and where we went in the days to come. Plus, part two of my travel diary! Enjoy! Or as the Finns would say, nauttikaa!

Oh my God! You won the raffle! Awesome!!! You handled the surprise really well. If it were me, I would’ve dropped the camera, I almost dropped my phone while watching when I heard your name. I reacted to that first despite it being near the end of your vlog already. It was such a “who would’ve thought” moment. Lucky you!
I guess it’s too cold out that’s why there are only few people on the streets but then again, those dudes who were chilling by the bay in nothing but shorts somehow showed that they can brave the cold.
