When you need to catch a break from all the stuff that are keeping you busy, sometime’s all you need is to reconnect with your friends and spend a little time with them. It doesn’t have to be extravagant. You don’t have to travel far or do something extreme. A good long day or 2 of bonding is more than enough. This is why when Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences invited me for an overnight stay, I immediately gathered my blogger besties for a much-needed staycation. We’ve all been so busy with work that we hardly get to talk face to face anymore. It’s so hard to get everyone together! Good thing Picasso is located right at the heart of Makati. We got our perfect escape without having to adjust our schedules.
Nicole and I were the first ones to arrive. We’ve been wanting to try the Salcedo Saturday Market for so long. Since Picasso is located just a few steps away from it, it was the perfect time for us to check it out and go on a food trip. I kid you not, we were like school girls giggling over our excitement to eat all the yummy food! I even brought my camera with me to take photos of our little field trip! I later regretted this decision though. Eating and drinking with your camera in tow can be dangerous–for your camera’s life that is. Being the overly-zealous foodie that I am, I almost spilled my drink on it! Dear Lord! You can just imagine my mini panic attack. In times like this, how I wish all my gadgets are waterproof like the Sony Xperia Z2. I hear its 20.7 MP camera and 4K camcorder are awesome! That’s like using an actual camera! Imagine being able to capture special moments without compromising quality, whenever and wherever you want–even under water. You don’t have to worry about ruining your phone or your camera and you won’t ever lose all your pretty photos.
Hmmm, maybe I should get one. Smart is offering it for free after all, with Unlisurf plan 2000. With Smart’s super fast LTE connection plus Sony Xperia z2’s superior camera, you’ll surely see more Instagram posts from me if I do. Decisions, decisions. For now though, enjoy my Salcedo Market finds! I almost ruined my camera for this so I hope you like them!
