Nothing Like The Swiss Alps

It seems like everywhere you go in Switzerland, the snow-covered mountains look like they’re just a few steps away. Part of me (a very silly part of me) wants to just reach out and maybe, just maybe, I’d be able to touch them and discover that they were actually just painted on my background. They’re so beautiful, they seem unreal! This urge got even stronger when I arrived in Lausanne for Swiss luxury watch brand Parmigiani Fleurier. The press launch of their new collection was held at one of the world’s leading museums, Musée de l’Elysée and boy, was I in awe of both Parmigiani Fleurier and the scenery. The museum had the best view of the Swiss alps! It used to be a mansion built for a Swiss officer and was occupied by a number of important people during the 18th century so just imagine, there were people who woke up to a view like this every single day! Oh, what I would give for that. But since there is no chance of that happening to me, I just made the most out of my visit. I must warn you, I got a little carried away with the beauty of this place so forgive me for the overload of photos. I think this just might be my favorite style post so far this year. But then again, we’re just on the 2nd month.

For Parmigiani Fleurier’s press launch, I chose to wear something sophisticated but understated to match the brand’s worldly aesthetic. If you notice, I’m not wearing any stockings/tights here so that’s all me—legs, legs, legs in this freezing weather. To my surprise, my legs survived. I guess the power of the mind prevailed. If you convince yourself it isn’t cold, your body just might believe you. Mine did.

Grabe ang effect ng hair color sa Zara coat. I love it!!! It’s enticing me to change my color in the same shade as yours. Haha… Kaya lang hndi bagay sa skin tone ko. :(

How do you store your accessories when you travel? Do you plan your outfits ahead of time? :)

Thanks Reena! I used to just store them in a pouch but now I just bought this accessories compartment thingy for traveling. I’ll try to blog about that. And as for styling, yes I do! If I don’t, I might bring so much stuff!

Sooo pretty! Para kang modern version ni Juliet waiting for her Romeo in your photos. Haha! If you want to relax, that kind of place is the best to go. :)
