Weekend Getaway

A long time ago, I was asked about what I love most about living in Metro Manila. I said I love that it gives me the best of both worlds–the bustling metropolitan and then just a few hours away, the unpretentious beauty of nature. Resorts, beaches and various getaways are just a short road trip away, much like my family’s favorite quick escape–Tagaytay. We were actually just there 2 Sundays ago to celebrate my brother’s birthday. He requested for us to spend it at his favorite restaurant, Antonio’s. Because we’re such foodies, everyone was game to travel the distance. Of course, while all of them were thinking about food and food alone, I was thinking about the ambience as well. (Welcome to a fashion blogger‘s mind.) Antonio’s is so beautiful–like a vintage Filipino mansion mixed with modern accents. I don’t know why I’ve never taken outfit shots here until now! It’s the perfect backdrop for a bold and high contrast outfit like this. The vibrant greens and romantic browns go so well with my clothes’ eye-popping colors. Everything just works. Sigh. How I wish I had a backyard like this.

Hi camille! I just wonder what’s your height? Ive seen in ur ig throwback posts and it seem that u were really tall ever since a kid. u really can wear any midi skirt too like this. And also, ive seen ur mag cover with laureen, pat, and divine and it seem that ur more or less the same height as divine.

I’ve always been tall ever since I was a kid, even as a baby! Giant baby! Haha! I’m 5’7, scoliosis took 2 inches off my height though so I should’ve been 5’9″. Giant! LOL!

    Hi miss Camille! :)
I was wondering how you wear backless tops and dresses but it seems like you don’t have a bra on… Does your clothes come with pads already or do you have a secret? Love your blog btw.

Living in the Visayas I haven’t gone to much of Luzon yet (apart from Metro Manila). Sigh. Someday though and I’ll make sure to visit Tagaytay and drop by Antonio’s! The place looks like it has been from the Spanish era. There’s a “then” look to it that’s so romantic and beautiful. Hay nako ipon time! HAHAHA
