Mint Condition

Now that I’m past the first quarter of my life, assuming I live until a 100 years old, (Oh dear God, I don’t think I want to reach a century old) it feels a tiny bit different. 26 just doesn’t have the same ring to it as 25. But even so, I’m #proudofmyage. (You can’t take the Olay woman out of me!) I reckon even when I’m 30, I’d still be proud of my age. I used to be afraid of turning older, not knowing that turning older also means becoming wiser and BETTER. I just wanted to be forever young. But now that I’m actually at this point in my life, transitioning to a new chapter, I realize being forever young has nothing to do with age and has everything to do with how you look at life. I look at life as glass half full–believing in all of its possibilities and opportunities. There are plenty of lessons to be learned and experiences to be undertaken. This makes me forever young. Well, this…and my shirt that clearly states that I am. If the shirt says it, no one can contest to it. LOL!

Let’s shift our attention to my outfit shall we? I got my “forever young”cropped top (which validates my being forever young), shorts and cardigan, all from local brand Mint. Mint has actually been around for some time now but it’s only my first time to try the brand. I used to think they carry mostly menswear but their collection for women is actually pretty wide! It’s definitely a brand to watch out for, especially after winning the Philippine Retailers Association’s Outstanding Filipino Retailer last year. If you’re looking for casual but cute shirts, cardigans and shorts, give Mint a try!

So casual, sporty and chic at the same time! Why is the feeling so different when you’re already wearing it? Haha love how you styled it with the heels :)

If it makes you feel any better, I turned 60 last September but I feel like I’m no older than 40. I say you are as young as you feel. You do get wiser as you age.

Now I know your secret why you remained to look young! :) I’m so sorry that I can’t come to your special dinner date. I told the reason on my reply email. :) Thank you Ms. Camille for the lovely invitation. It made my day. You make me soo soo happy! Although I feel a bit sad that I can’t come, it did not offset the happiness that I feel from your invitation. Maybe it’s not yet the right time that I will meet you but for sure I will see you soon and we will have pictures! I hope to see you in Cebu if you have an event here. :) Can’t wait for the pictures of your dinner date! :) Stay beautiful inside and outside. <3

I like that shirt, Camille! Looks cute on you! I’ve also tried buying a piece from them (it is a top made specifically for the summer season) and I can say that it’s really perfect as the material is just light. I smell street wear over there!

Even in casual wear, you look so fab! <3 I have said this before but I'll say this again: I really love your taste on shoes and bags! You made me appreciate quality items and aspire to study and work (soon) hard to get my hands on some of them. I hope you'll blog about your closet soon! :)

I thought your title was referring to your givenchy bag hahaha you really really should read the blog and not assume based on the title haha you don’t even look 26!! I’m only 20 (turning 21) but I look older than you-eyebags and haggardness! hahaha I really should start using olay too! :)))) More power Cams (naks nickname na) =))

Yes! That’s so true, coz I really felt that way too, but since you told me that 30 is the new 18 I just embraced the fact that I’m not getting any younger. I’m happy and proud of my age because I was mistaken as a student parn for a couple of times, lol!
Again congratulations and I wish for more collaborations and endorsements to come this 26th year of your wonderful life!
