Today marks the 3rd year anniversary of my blog. I can’t believe it’s been 3 years already! Who would’ve thought I’d be able to maintain a blog for 3 years? I certainly didn’t. I remember when I first made this blog, I was so apprehensive because I didn’t think I could do it. What would I post about? What if I get lazy? Will I be able to maintain my blog? Won’t I run out of outfits and things to say? What if people judge me? What if they get bored? So many questions! I’m glad I cast my worries away and took the plunge. Else, I wouldn’t be where I am now and I wouldn’t have met any of you–the people who inspire me to continue doing what I do, who cheer me on endlessly and who motivate me to improve. Thank you for the 3 blissful years you have given me. I am blessed and honoured. You guys rock! I hope you know how sincere I am when I say I love you and will be forever grateful.
To give back, I’ve decided to spend some quality time with my most loyal readers. I haven’t decided on the details yet because I want to know what you think. Would you like to have lunch with me around the last week of April? My treat! Since my birthday is fast approaching as well, it’ll sort of be a celebration of both my blog anniversary and my birthday. Nothing big–just a casual and intimate lunch among friends. I’ll pick around 12 readers–12 of the most active readers here on my blog (yes, you who tirelessly leave the sweetest comments on my posts). I wish I can invite more of you but I have to be honest, it might get too costly for me. LOL! As I’ve said, this is just something I came up with so it’s all me. Do let me know what you think.

Congratulations on your 3rd blog anniversary at 3 years na rin akong fan ng blog mo. Hihi. Ang late ko na mag-commment, sa sobrang busy na rin being a graduating student this coming May. :) Pero kahit busy sa thesis, I’ve always find my time reading your fashion and travel posts, nakakawala ng stress at pagod ang bawat smile at styles mo sa photo. :) Kahit mga posts mo sa Twitter at Instagram, lagi kong inaabangan yan! Marami nagsasabi sakin dati (nung wala ka pang blog) na manang raw ako manamit, siguro simple lang talaga ko manamit. Yung tipong t-shirt at jeans okay na, at hindi ako masyadong nakakapag-ayos sa sarili ko. Pero dahil sa fashion sense mo, na-realize ko, as being a woman, dapat maging parte na ng buhay ko ang fashion and beauty. Kahit sobrang stressed sa studies, dapat maging aware parin tayo sa sarili natin. That’s why, from being a “plain jane”, nag-explore ako sa blog at sa lookbook mo at nag-start na rin ako sa fashion blogging pa-minsan minsan. Hehe. :) When reading your travel posts, sinasabi ko sa sarili ko, I know, makakapunta din ako dyan, malapit na. :) Sobrang inspired talaga ako sa blog mo, halos same na ata tayo ng layout theme eh! Haha! I also love pink! We met last June nung Bloggers United, BU5 and that was my very perfect moment na nakita ko yung idol ko! 1) you obviously don’t get bored writing it. If you were bored writing it, your reader will be bored reading it. Trust me. Has its effects, and the reader WILL be able to tell, because for one, phrases will repeat, and for another, well, the overall reading experience will simple feel much like a chore! And,
2) you bond with your readers through your comments, and your readers can tell because you go beyond saying “Thanks!” and answering questions. You really react to other details of their comments. Plus points because you mention names even after a simple “Thanks!”!:) At least, this is what I notice.

The fact that your blog turned 3 made me realize that I’ve been following you for 3 years now and counting. Personally, I was really active hyping ootds on Lookbook.nu and that was the time I started following you around. Being able to come into your site, read your entries, sharing your feelings and thoughts and keeping that connection with your readers made me think that “Oh, she definitely has this beating to this blog”. I do read a couple of blogs and honestly there are just few fashion bloggers who try to reach out to their followers/readers. You have no idea how you make your readers/followers smile and even make their day by your comments and that sense of humor of yours. I’m really happy how big this space become in just a span of 3 years and I know you’ll continue to touch a lot more people in the coming years. Keep blogging from the heart, Miss Camille! When I started writing this letter, I thought it would be easy but it’s a thousand times harder for me to put into words how much you mean to me.There is so much to say about your Style, and how inspiring you are. I’ll never forget the first time I never paid attention to whatever the other readers bought, but for some reason this time I did, and voila! It happened. Hi Cams! Remember Yanshi? The girl who teaches Koreans as her career. She spoke to you last time in Trinoma when you were doing the meet and greet for Tomato. She’s been leaving comments on your posts too in the hope that you remember her when you see her during meet and greet events. Anyway, she has been a big fan of yours since last year. She read through your blog every single day for months when we were workmates and she taught me a lot about Blogging and the Bloggers. She’s a very strong woman- a cancer survivor, the bread winner of her family and she just lost her dad just a month ago. I hope and pray that you can include her Cams! Happy Third Anniversary!!!! <3
