Skittle Skies

There’s nothing more romantic than staring at the sunset with the sounds of the waves crashing on the background. I wasn’t a beach baby before but as you can probably tell from all my beach posts, I became a convert somewhere along the way. I love everything about it–the food, the environment, the lifestyle and even the fashion. Don’t get me wrong, I love my street-style OOTDs. But when you’ve lived in the city all your life, it’s a welcome change to walk barefoot and give those heels a break. Just let go and be carefree. A simple dress, messy hair and glowing skin are all you need.

…And a cozy jacket at night if you don’t have someone to cuddle with. LOL.

Syempre blazer! Because you have to look presentable in school and a blazer can easily make the most casual outfits just a wee bit dressier and more appropriate :)

I couldn’t agree more when you said that walking barefoot on the sand was like a break from all the auras of the urban life. Indeed, t’was like a breath of fresh air we all needed once in a while. :))

Most of these photos look very vintage, Miss Camille! The sunset, sand, and sea are always portrayed as dramatic elements, but I think those three summer variables look very laid back in this post of yours. Looks like even the weather is beckoning you to have a brilliant day at the beach! :-D

The look you have here is one of a sun-kissed damsel letting her worries be carried away by the waves. Each angle is timed wonderfully with the silkiness of the ocean behind you. And check out that lighting for the 10th photo! Gorgeous! Your skin took on a mild honey tint that further emphasized the eye-catching print cutouts of your dress.

And I took a closer look at your sandals after you told me in your previous post that the strap design is a print. Whoever thought of that idea really hit the jackpot for footwear eye candy!

The apples of my very, VERY wow-ed eyes are really your jewelry. That slingshot necklace is a total hit for me. I thought it was a wishbone! I also think your choker pendant went great with the sweet elegance of your rings. The one with the pearl makes me wish I could ask you personally if you are a mermaid in disguise.

As for your cardigan, I admire the print of it very much. It’s great for one of those late-night beach campfires with fruit-kebobs dipped in chocolate. I love the layers and levels of it in your fourth to the last photo. The fabric falls so nicely around your figure. As I took in the details of that picture, I was all “No, Miss Camille! Don’t go away! You might sail off to an uncharted island paradise and leave us!”

I know! Those bejeweled sandals would probably look so pretty! Thanks Angelic! It’s actually a wishbone but I just see it as a slingshot, it’s my inner boy working its magic :)

Such a romantic place. I would want to have a date with someone in this kind of set-up. Imagine getting to talk to someone while enjoying the sunset view. That would be so sweet. haha. And I would wear something like that, too :)
