Travel Diary: Tegalalang Rice Terraces

After an eventful morning at Ubud’s monkey forest, we headed to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces located north of Ubud. It was a welcome change of scenery–definitely less stressful and whole lot more peaceful. (Well, at this point, any place without monkeys seemed zen to us.) I understand why so many people were just sitting in the restaurants located atop the terraces, dining and drinking while admiring the green scenery. The terraces offered a different sense of serenity and calm. It’s as if nature was showing us how grand and majestic it is, making us realize how we’re mere humans in the face of it all. It’s a shame we didn’t have enough time. I would’ve loved to walk down the fields and explore the terraces a bit more. Maybe I can just do so when I visit our veryh own Banawe rice terraces. It’s definitely something to look forward to.

Love the view. :D They say, good for the eyes and anti-stressor daw ang color green, that’s why when I highlight my books, cases and notes, I use color Green, you can also have a small plant in your atelier Ms. Camille to help you fight stress. :D

That’s a breathtaking scenery. I always feel so calm and relaxed whenever I get to see such nature’s wonders. Banawe Rice Terraces is such a view too but it’s so hard to get there (zigzag roads that make you wanna puke and sleep the whole travel time). You should go see it in person too, although they don’t have restaurants there lang. It’s somehow near Sagada narin, the place is majestic and very historic as well! Haha
