Fallen Angel

Tagaytay is the only place close enough to Metro Manila that allows me to pretend there’s winter season here in our country. So whenever my family stays there for some r&r, I make sure to pack my cozy knits and sweaters with me. First on the list is this black sweater with embroidered wings from Romwe. It’s designed by Ji Cheng, a popular designer based in China. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it up close! It’s as if my sweater’s wings were coming to life like a 3D movie! Naturally, I fell in love with it instantly. The weather in Tagaytay seems to like it as well. The gloomy clouds and strong wings matched my OOTD perfectly. I was going for a somber mood, pretending to be a fallen angel because of these wings on my sweater. Obviously, my mind goes to far far away places.

Your sweater is so nice!! I like the 3D wings effect attached to it – Very unique and creative!! and I love how you styled it! It’s not your usual laid back, comfy OOTD. I was kinda wowed to the fact that your jogger pants complimented your Alexander Wang sandals. Super galing! If I were to wear that sweater matched with jogger pants kasi, I would never thought of wearing heels haha instead, I’d pair them with white sneakers lol. Pero hands down talaga, you’re so good with matching the unusual! Lovet! <3

What a cool sweater!!! When I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to have wings just like Erica in Daimos hahaha! I wonder if you ever watched that anime? It’s really famous during the 90’s :P

Haha! Oh no, I’ve never seen Daimos. I think I watched one anime, Curious Play? Is that right?

Props to Ji Cheng for the beautiful wing design, Miss Camille! I love the detail of the feathery sweeps and strokes. You nailed the fallen angel look. These right here could be promotional photos for a new TV series: small, peaceful town; mysterious phenomena. You’ve got the heroine down pat! :-D

Somber moods and overcast weather really do inspire these types of cozy wear. I’m finding lots of style inspiration here when it comes to keeping things loose and comfy, but still being able to find and pull off that spark that is just YOU.

I like the material of your joggers as well. I think of them as the silvery light to your angel wings. :-D Your side-swept hairstyle gave you that effortless and windblown look that leaves viewers wondering. Hope you consider sporting this ‘do more often. I think it gives you a whole new look! :-D

Oh my goodness. You’re right Cams they do look like real wings on a certain angle. Pwede akin na lang? Pretty please? *puppy eyes* On a different note, I remember your post last year when you and your family were headed to Tagaytay too. I’m not sure if this was the same patch of road though but it was hot and you were sitting on the middle of the road at the time. You even mentioned your mom laughing at you because you were trying hard not to react to the roads’ tremendous heat… Quite the polar opposite of this post. Now back to the present, I haven’t been to Tagaytay and I wish I could go there (and Baguio) so that I could do my own winter dressing. Haha. I love how comfy this look is. It reminds me of hot cocoas in bed. :)

I love how you paired those joggers with the heels Miss Camille :) Looks classy even with the comfy loose outfit. And yeah, the sweater is unique and I’m sure it will hit the trend streets very soon. And you should have ranked number 1 in the when in Manila best bloggers. You deserve to be on top because of your versatility, sophistication and your very fashion forward style.

Thanks Mary Ann! These rankings, they’re kind of silly really. It’s all about preference anyway, it just so happens my style resonates with you more :) But thank you!
