Back With A Vengeance

Bring out your maxi dresses and maxi skirts girls, boho chic is back with a vengeance this 2015. I still remember it like yesterday when this trend hit it big. I’m not talking about the late 60s to early 70s obviously. I wasn’t even born yet at that time. I’m referring to the late 2000s when Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe were all about their maxis. And all of us were all about our maxis too. See, this is why it’s so hard for me to throw my old clothes away. You’ll never know when they’ll be on trend again and suddenly deemed cool. Oh fashion, we can’t seem to make up our minds can we? Goodbye never really means goodbye.

I just love boho. I started appreciating it when Vanessa Hudgens introduced me to the world of coachella. I just love the concept of Boho: so unique and indie but well represented. I don’t know why but I don’t have any maxis in my closet, I’m super attached to my skinny jeans haha maybe I should at least try to get out of my comfort zone. And your dress is so nice, summer perfect!! :)

That dress reminds me of the beautiful black maxi dress from the Valentino SS 2014 collection. So chic. <3

You’re absolutely right Cams! Back in high school when low-rise elephant jeans were still the trend, I used to see my mom’s high waist skinny jeans from her college photos weird. But boy do I love those jeans of hers now! Haha! Fashion hates goodbyes. It prefers a see you soon. ^_^

“Oh fashion, we can’t seem to make up our minds can we? Goodbye never really means goodbye.” Filed under Camille COutes. Oh, wait! Should be COwts. Haha!

Love this one Ate Camille. I am ecstatic that boho chic is back. I’d still flaunt it even if it weren’t trending again, but ah! More excuses to update my wardrobe.

Rachel Zoe is just amazing. I saw that episode where she pointed out how maxi skirts are just so awesome, especially because she’s a mom. I love what you’re wearing. You looks so beautiful. I probably still don’t have the guts to where a maxi skirt because people at work might think I’m a lola. Ha!

Same here. Like you, I never throw or give away my clothes because they always come back. maybe on different styles but it’s still the same. I believe what Georgina Wilson says when she was featured as one of the best dresses in Preview Magazines. She says,”Trends come and go, but style is eternal.” It’s true. Been so long since I check your blog. Thank you for updating us always.. I really love maxi dresses because it’s effortless. If you feel like you don’t know what you are going to wear. There is always the maxi dress and skirts.

To each her own :) I’d like to say the same, but I’m totally affected by trends, just not ruled by them :)
