Something Old

It’s only the second month of 2015 which means practically everyone who interviews me for a fashion piece is asking, “what are the trends for the year?” Well, here you go! Today’s style post features 2 of 2015’s biggest trends–fringe and boho. Once again, fashion forecasters looked to past decades for inspiration. (There’s a paradox somewhere in there.) Not that I’m complaining. I happen to love all the 2015 trends I’ve seen so far and cannot be happier with the chosen color of the year–wine or what fashion folks insist on calling marsala (because it’s so much cooler to call it that.)

I remember a time in my life when everything I liked were either pastel or bright colors. But then I grew up and started to appreciate what I used to call granny colors–marsala, olive green, rust, old rose and the like. Funny how our preferences change through the years. You don’t really notice them changing but it sure doesn’t happen overnight. I guess there are just some things you have to grow to love.

I absolutely adore the trends this 2015. I’m a vintage lover so these things totally suit me ♥

Anyhow, I love your outfit here. Especially the print on print. I wonder why I can’t ever pull this off, haha.

Marsala is such a cool color! I have so many lipsticks that it’s color is close to marsala since I can’t pull off the super bright red :( I also loved pastel colors back then (up to now actually) But I actually also started loving those “granny” colors haha. My mom said that those granny colors don’t suit me for my age since I’m still a teenager but I don’t know why I still love it but I think maybe because I follow you soooooo much hahaha!

Your outfit looks so great, it’s rare to see you in a vintage look so this one looks fresh! :) anyways, no matter what you wear, you still look perf in it! haha

I’m so excited for your palawan blog posts! Cause my mom said were going there in april so I need some tips from you hahaha :)

Balesin <3 Such a lovely outfit post! I can already feel summer coming in. Haha me too, I super love the color baby pink (and I even want that as the color motif of my wedding alongside with color champagne) and now, I started to appreciate the bold colors, marsala (yup, it's cool to call it this way than burgundy or wine haha) and specially navy blue. I hope you post more of 2015's fashion trends hehe and btw, I super super love you top, skirt and kimono and everything you're wearing in this post hehee

So chic!! I’m loving these trends <3 Especially the wine color. Oops, I meant "Marsala" haha :) I remember two years or so ago when you used to post so many bright and colorful print-on-print OOTD's. I too noticed how you style has evolved and you're definitely the epitome of a sophisticated woman now. Idol talaga kita forever haha!

I totally agree Cams! I used to adore anything pastel… then fell in love with the elegance of white and gold… then got attracted to the charm of mint. Who knows what’s next? Seriously though, our preferences change over time and I have to say that I think I might just fall for marsala too especially when paired with green! This outfit is so chic Cams. I’m pinning it for Summer. Lapit na! :D
