My Penguin’s Got Some Sass

Happy 60th birthday, Original Penguin! Wow, what a feat! That’s 60 years of great style and true quality. To celebrate, the beloved brand is launching a special 60th anniversary capsule collection which includes polos, t-shirts, woven tops and outerwear that were over-dyed and washed to emulate a vintage feel. I compiled a few of my favorite pieces from the collection above so you can check it out.

As you can see, the collection boasts of a more celebratory feel through the addition of details like the gold trimmings, updated gold ‘Pete the Penguin’ logo and the signature logo enlarged and printed all over to adorn various t-shirts, woven tops and hoodies–which, by the way, the brand fondly dubbed as ‘The Re-Pete’. (I see what you did there Original Penguin, you witty brand you!)

The collection is actually just about to be released in stores tomorrow so I haven’t gotten my hands on them…yet. But because I want to celebrate with Original Penguin, I thought I’d whip out my own Original Penguin shirt and show you how I style my Penguins. (That sounds a tiny bit wrong. LOL.)
