My Sexy Secret

I’ve always had a thing for lingerie, even as a stick thin tween. It was cutesy prints then, and mature prints and sensual lace now. Lingerie sleepwear however, I never really paid any attention to until recently. I used to be that girl in a big old loose shirt (sometimes with embarrassingly big holes in them as a result of my reluctance to retire them) paired with comfy shorts that may or may not have faded.

So what caused the change? I don’t know really. All of a sudden, I just realized I needed an upgrade. I wanted to feel good in sleepwear but still look good. It’s about time. After all, I’m not a girl, already a woman. (Sorry Brit Brit, had to change your lyric there.)

Enter Sapph, one of the biggest and most luxurious lingerie and swimwear brands from The Netherlands. My first Sapph items were actually a pair of bikinis. I loved them so much I decided to check out its catalogue of products–looking for more swimwear. But then, I found myself drawn to its collection of lingerie–beautiful, feminine and sensual. I just couldn’t take my eyes of its sexy underwear, silk slip dresses and lace robes. I thought to myself: more to add to my budding collection of lingerie fit for a woman.

There’s no shame in updating your lingerie. I believe there’s something about the right lingerie that empowers women. When a woman is in touch with her femininity, she becomes more confident and beautiful. So don’t shy away from investing in pieces like these. They have a way of making you feel powerful and in control. Trust me. They’re our secret weapons.

Sapph is available on Zalora and is on a special 30% off sale from now until August 30. It will also be available soon at SM Premium Store.

Bonus: here’s a little sneak peek of Sapph’s latest collection of swimwear and lingerie pieces to look out for.
