I think I can finally say I’ve graduated from the craziness that is Laboracay. Not that I can’t stand it or anything. I don’t really mind sunset ’til sunrise beach parties filled with eager youngsters dancing the night away. I’d probably still join in on the fun. But I guess at this point in my life, I’d rather enjoy Boracay at my own pace–particularly, a much more relaxing and chill pace. Enjoy the day by the beach, sip fresh smoothies, take a dip in the pool, drink a few cocktails during sunset happy hour and cap the night off with a massage–this to me sounds like the perfect beach escape. And it’s exactly what I did at Boracay’s Discovery Shores–one of my favorite homes away from home.
P.S. This was from more than a year ago hence the hair color. Yes, I’m still throwing it back. Thought I’d bring out the old photos since I’m feeling a little nostalgic.

Love the pictures Camille! Everything looked peaceful and serene. And I’d have to say I agree with you on the relaxed and chill pace of spending one’s time at the beach. I haven’t been to Boracay but would love to go there just to chill and enjoy the surroundings. Not really a party girl so a sip of frozen margarita while lounging at the pool side or at the beach would be nice. And of course, a spa experience should also be included. (Or probably I’m just an ageing millenial. Haha!)

I always wanted to wear bikinis during summer but my parents are really that strict. hahaha How sad on my part though. hahaha :D also changing the color of my hair :( maybe soon. For now I’ll take a look to my favorite bloggers like you Ate Camille. :)

I’ve never been to Boracay before so I’ve never really experience any of the “Laboracay fun”. Lol. But I think that it would be best to enjoy a vacation where you can relax as well and there’s not too many people so you can just enjoy the view, the beach and the pool. Haha. I really like your 2nd look where you wore a kimono. I think you’re great at mix-and-matching patterns. :) I love the photos as well! Makes me want to visit the place someday. :)

Nice shots of you on the beach. Have you ever been to the Cayman Islands? I was there in Grand Cayman in 2011 and 2013. I’ve never been to Boracay or Loboracay. Enjoy your twenties. Life is too short.
