Shopping Revolution

Recently, I’ve been doing more of my shopping online than at physical stores. Since I’ve been traveling so much, I’m always swamped with work whenever I’m back in town so I don’t have much time to get out of the office and sit in traffic for hours just to buy that one thing I need at the mall. Factor in the Christmas rush and crowds, even if I had the time, I wouldn’t dare braving the chaos. (Tita Camille, is that you?) I’d really much rather find a more convenient way to shop–an easier, faster, less stressful way–which is basically me sitting at home, staring at my laptop or mobile phone, browsing through online stores. Search, click, add to cart, pay, boom! All done!

Online Shopping - Camille Co

We live in the digital age after all. Online shopping isn’t a novel thing. But even so, a lot of you are still iffy with the concept. I get it though. It’s a cruel cruel world we live in. We can’t just go around trusting everything. (#Hugot) Up til now, I still get messages from some of you, asking me about certain online stores’ credibility. I say, always trust online stores that are officially endorsed by brands. This way, you know you’re buying the real thing.

Lazada Online Revolution - Camille Co

Take Lazada for example. Lazada has been a lifesaver for me. I buy practically everything there–from everyday stuff to the most random things ever. I’m not afraid to shop on Lazada because they actually have official stores of certain brands like my all time faves–Pantene and Olay.

So how do you know if you’re buying from an official store on Lazada?

And voila! You’re now shopping for guaranteed genuine Olay products. Actually, you’ll find official stores for all P&G brands on Lazada, not just for Pantene and Olay. I just shopped these brands because I needed to restock and wanted to make the most of Lazada’s Online Revolution Sale last Nov. 11. The deals were too good to miss!!! Pantene conditioners were at 30% off. Olay creams were at 50% off. There were free P100 – P500 vouchers for most of the products. Plus raffle coupons too!

Pantene and Olay Haul

So here are just some of my haul. If you’ve seen my vlogs, you know the Olay Eyes eye cream is my fave so of course I had to get one for myself. I’m almost down to my last jar. I also got the Olay Total Effects Day Cream, which as I’ve mentioned in one of my previous vlogs (again) has just undergone a revamp with a new and improved formula. I originally wanted just the day cream but I ended up getting an Olay Total Effects Day Cream + Serum bundle instead. The solo day cream was already sold out. (Because obviously the sale was cray and I guess everyone was hoarding.) Anyway, it’s still a win for me because I got these at 50% off plus I got a new serum! Then I also bought my trusty 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner because although I still have plenty, it was on sale so why not stock up? And last but not the least, I added a Pantene BB Cream into the mix because ever since using this for my Pantene shoot in Singapore two years ago, I’ve been hooked and there’s no turning back.

This was definitely the fastest shopping I ever did. With all the awesome deals, I just kept hitting add to cart quicker than I blinked.

Add to cart. Add to cart. Add to cart.

Check out.

Pay!

I paid via credit card but if you don’t have any, you can also pay via bank deposit or cash on delivery. In terms of delivery time, I got all my products within 3 days. (P&G products on Lazada take only 1-5 days to be delivered so you won’t have to wait long before you get your purchases.) Lazada also offers free returns so you’re guaranteed happy with your purchases. I’m definitely happy with mine. I should’ve hoarded more products though. Not to worry, I hear the Lazada Online Revolution is happening again this Dec.7 – 12 and the same awesome deals will be offered. I gotta shop earlier this time though before stocks run out. This shopper has learned her lesson!
