Sinulog is just around the corner. Are you guys ready for Cebu’s biggest festival of the year? I know I am…although I’m not really attending the festival this year. LOL. I just thought I’d give you guys a few ideas on how to be Sinulog fashion-ready. You’re welcome!
First of all, you have to be ready to get paint all over you. No one is safe from Sinulog’s paint-throwing shenanigans so make sure whatever you’re wearing isn’t delicate or expensive. Second, be prepared for the heat. In order to stay fresh (I highly doubt you can, but it doesn’t hurt to try), don’t wear anything thick. A muscle tee or tank top is ideal. Third, wear comfortable shoes. I’m definitely not going to wear these boots if I was really off to Sinulog. They’ll get murdered there! Wear shoes that are waterproof and washable. And last but not the least, bring a tiny waterproof body bag unlike the one I’m sporting here. As much as I love this Strathberry bag, it’s far too pretty for the mayhem that awaits in Sinulog. You’ve got to protect your belongings from the people and the paint so waterproof bags are the way to go! There you have it, you’re ready for Sinulog. All you have to do now is to let loose and have fun! Enjoy the weekend, you guys!

I agree! Those shoes and bag may not make it alive on Sinulog and it would hurt if they get massacred with paint and all the shenanigans going around. Even if you won’t party or go to the streets to watch the parade, floats and street dancing (the latter being impossible because what’s the point of going to Sinulog?) the huge crowd will squash that bag and unconsciously step on those boots. Noooo! Sneakers are always my trusted bffs during this time of the year but I’m missing it for 2016 because we moved. Oh well, maybe next year! Sabay tayo? Haha. :)
