Sumilon Sunrise

Here’s a first on my blog: shooting as the sun is about to rise. I originally wanted to shoot this outfit with the sunset as my backdrop but due to a series of unfortunate events, I wasn’t able to do so. A quick recap of the said events: On my second day in Sumilon Blue Water Island Resort, I almost fainted due to dysmenorrhea (which has never happened to me before); my knee started swelling due to a bacterial infection; and last but not the least, I got some sort of allergy that caused both my eyes to swell to the size of golf balls. Said unfortunate events happened consecutively, all in one day. JUST. MY. LUCK. So instead of gallivanting about the resort with my blogger besties, I was stuck in my room unable to move or function like a normal human being. I have to clarify though, Sumilon Blue Water Island Resort has nothing to do with any of these things happening to me. I’m actually so thankful they’re equipped with all sorts of medicine to help ease my bodily malfunctions. By morning the next day, I was back on track with my blogger duties. Determined to shoot my OOTD against Sumilon’s dramatic beachfront, I chased the sunrise with one normal eye and one still swollen eye. LOL. I think I was able to turn the situation around, don’t you agree? In fact, I might even consider shooting during sunrise more now.

You look like a long lost mermaid who became a human on the shore. :) You’re so pretty! :) Love your overflowing dress. I bet it’s so comfy to wear near the beach and let it flow in the wind~

Had you not mentioned, I wouldn’t have noticed a thing. I do hope you feel better. I have had similar experiences, especially eye swellings, but in my case due to insect bites. I have no idea how insects get to bite my right eye…always. The photos look great <3

It’s because the more swollen eye is safely hidden under my hair haha! :) Thanks Stephanie!

These sunset photos are absolutely gorgeous! <3 Aww I hope you're feeling better now Camille! It sucks to be sick, especially when you're on vacation! I'm glad you were able to look at the bright side of things, and that these photos were a result of the unfortunate events :) Wishing you a great weekend!

Yes, definitely, you were able to turn it around! Thanks for being real and trying to reflect and incorporate real life to your blog. Allergies and dysmenorrhea are terrible, but glad you included that info as it helps to know even bloggers get those sometimes ><. Makes me feel more normal lol. Was it something you ate that caused the allergy?

LOL! It happened again after a few days so I concluded that it might be Ibuprofen.

The sky is a pretty pastel color! I’ve never seen it like that in person. It was a blessing in disguise somehow I guess. Besides, you still look glam Cams. I would have never guessed you were feeling out of the weather had you not mentioned it. The view and you are both so stunning.
