Practically everyone I know is already off to some summer destination this time of the year. I’m sure most of you guys are as well. But if you’re one of the few who still don’t have your summer travel plans figured out, don’t fret. Make the most out of what’s left for summer without traveling far and breaking the bank. Why not explore your own country? If you ask me, summer is the best time to get to know the Philippines. Head to the beach. Escape to a far away province. Or like me, do a road trip, the cool and clean way.
Just a few weeks back, I headed down to Pampanga to witness the Lubao International Balloon Festival. Because it was my first ever balloon festival, I made sure I was summer travel ready. Comfortable shoes? Check! Cute outfit for photos? Check! Handy camera and journal to memorialize the best moments? Check! Refreshments to keep cool and clean? Check, check, check! My choice? C2 Green Tea’s original flavor to match Pampanga’s earthy and natural environment. I swear, if not for this drink, I would’ve died in the scorching summer heat. Never underestimate the power of a good drink like C2.
So go ahead, plan your summer road trip. Pack a few essentials, some bottles of C2 and your sense of adventure!
