I used to think that once I become a redhead, it’s time to say goodbye to wearing red. I mean come on, I don’t want to look like a walking Angry Bird. Head to toe red? Won’t that look tacky? Apparently (and thankfully), it doesn’t. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to red just yet so I was determined to find a way.
The trick is to downplay the rest of your look. Keep your accessories simple. Don’t add any other loud colors. Why would you anyway when you’ve got so much red in you already? You’ve got enough of the most attention-grabbing color! What more do you need? Makeup will play a huge role in pulling off this look. I recommend sticking to browns, deep berry, wine or nude colors. This way, you don’t add any more distractions. I went with deep berry in my attempt to look more mature and dramatic.
