Metrowear Rocks The Runway

As promised, presenting Metrowear Rocks The Runway! For those who don’t know, Metrowear is one of the most prestigious fashion shows in the country. This year, Metrowear’s participating 20 designers were grouped under 3 unique themes: Aquatic, La Dolce Vita and 1950s Couture. It was really exciting to see what the designers came up with because aside from the theme assigned to them, they had to incorporate their own interpretation of sustainable and eco-friendly fashion.  Needless to say, all the designers’ collections were amazing! Sucks that I wasn’t able to capture all of them but I managed to take a few so that you can experience the fashion show as well.

Imagine these beautiful designs accompanied by music from your favorite rock stars–Wolfgang, Callalily, Kjwan and Rico Blanco. It’s not everyday you see high fashion rock out like this! Congratulations Metrowear! Awesome show as usual!

Uhm, do you have any idea on how to get tickets for the PFW? Cause me and my friend have been planning to go there for Penshoppe’s, but we have no idea how to get tickets. Please message me! It would really be a big help. Thanks! :)

Hi Michelle! Most brands throw giveaways for this. Check out their FB or Twitter, maybe they have updates on how to score some tickets. :)

I have a question.. did you ever experience people who look at you head-to-toe because of your look? or even sometimes giggle, when they saw you wear something quite different from the usual? [nakakainis lang kasi parang first time lang nakakita ng tao X( ]
*Hope you can reply and maybe give some advice/tip??

WOW. I must say, our designers really have what it takes to compete with International designers. I just don’t understand why they’re not given a chance. :( Thank God for Michael Cinco, Monique Lhuillier, and Furn One for somehow paving the way for other designers. Although, despite seeing a lot of creations from different designers, Alexander Mcqueen still stand out for me. He is SO DIFFERENT. A visionary indeed. And now with Sarah Burton taking charge of the brand, they still never fail to amaze me.

I love Mark Tumang and Cary Santiago’s creations! :D
