Tribal Peplum

Thought bubble: Inhale. Huwag hihinga. (Or in English, don’t breathe.) Ladies, who can relate? Haha! Darn these bustiers/corsets! But who can resist them? They can make any outfit hip and sexy, especially when paired with peplum skirts. For this look, I got my studded corset from Topshop and paired it with this tribal print peplum skirt from an online store. I like how the studs on my corset match the little print on my skirt. Or is it just me?

The prints from your top to your shoes kind of match.
And I really have noticed how you carry your accessories really well, you know, having a number of bangles in both arms and having necklaces and still look really simple and well, kind of accessory-less… Hindi katulad ko na pag more that one bangle ang sinuot, ang sagwa na tingnan… :(

    You already!

Hi Camille! I’ve always wondered what lipstick you have on. May I know what color/brand you’re wearing? Thanks!

The “Stomach in” poise as events models call it. XD With all due honesty, and my somewhat lack thereof of fashion knowledge, that corset doesn’t look all too binding. Or I may just be thinking of Victorian corsets.

Cams, do you think peplum in black is also good for business attire? what top is perfect for it to get that business look? :)) PS: i think it’s love at first sight when i saw your bustier and the studs make it all work :)

Thanks Elaine! :) I think it’s okay as long as it’s not too short. :) Pair it with a nice white long=sleeved buttondown :)

I laaaaavvvvvv the corset! Can I ask you something… when you see a cheaper version (or the best example could be the “imitations/class A”) of what you bought (especially when it comes to clothes) naiinis ka ba? :| I mean, especially when you bought it at a high price? Wala lang, just want to know your thoughts about things like that:) Thank you! :D

Indeed, don’t breathe! Corset tops are challenging. Before, they still fit me. But now, no corset tops fit me anymore. Eeeekkk! >.<

I really admire how you always come up so stylish! If I wear something like this, it'll surely turn out baduy on me. Waaaahhh!
