Beach Baby!

itscamilleco.com2013110310

One of the many perks of blogging? Getting to travel to beautiful places like this for work! The Philippines has the most beautiful beaches in the world so when I got invited to join the Antistax event in Balesin’s private resort, I immediately said yes. Just look at this view! It’s breathtaking. I couldn’t pass this opportunity up. Just thinking about all the pretty beach photos I can take for my blog got me all excited. Finally! I’ll be able to wear my special bikini design for Soak Swimwear! Woohoo! And because it’s my first time to wear my own bikini design, this called for special art direction and just a tad bit more drama care of my floppy hat, bug-eyed sunnies and red lippie. Everything’s more dramatic with red lipstick, don’t you agree? Especially if you’re in black and white. Of course, I went all the way and  threw in a bit of color to make my photos pop even more. Thanks to my new favorite beach essential–a bright pink beach blanket from Lagu. It’s the first ever beach-friendly blanket that’s unlike ordinary towels. It’s a unique linen blend that’s allergen-free, repels sand and has quick-dry properties that keeps it fresh for repeated use. I’m all set for the beach!

Hi Miss Camille! I really like the bikini top you’ve designed. I was wondering if bagay sya sa flat chested. I’d like to buy and wear it but I’m worried that it might not look flattering on me. :( Any thoughts about this matter?

You seemed alone in the beach, pero you’re with your bloggers naman. Alternate kayo siguro when you take your pictures. Haha Who is your photographer in your photos? Cute niyo sguro when you exchange cameras to take your outfit shots! Oh camille ikaw naman. O Laureen, your turn…etc. :D

Nice outfit!!!! I think you’re the first fashion blogger that I saw pulling off pants (+ for it being high waist) on the beach and you did well!

Hi, Miss Camille! Another days – long gap from me. No web connection over the holidays. :-(

Anyway, I read your blog as soon as I got the chance. Plenty of excitement and key fashion statements! You sure know how to kick off the holidays in style. :-)

I took this post to be a beautifully shot spread. Seeing the beach and the rest of the scenery through your camera lens made me feel like I was there, soaking up the wonderful seaside atmosphere. You certainly take great landscape shots too! Through a fashion blogger’s perspective, everything’s quite out of the ordinary. :-)

And now for your outfit. I applaud the detail and direction you took to make it look high-fashion and flirty. It is a pumped up vibe you carry and I am very much a fan of your bikini design. I think the beachwear combination is a total winner, and
I’d love to see it in bright colors for summer. :-)

You had me at the floppy hat, though. Its flair does your facial features much justice. I noticed how your cheek contours looked beautiful in the first photo as they were thrown in a light-shadow relief. It’s not the fun and sunny classic of beach scenarios, but this key piece of headgear gave you a more sophisticated allure.

The 14th photo is one I appreciated very much. It’s a pose that showed off your outfit’s silhouette, your figure, and the mysterious look of your makeup.

Love this monochromatic look, such a nice contrast with the beautiful beach. I can’t believe I haven’t been to any of the beaches when I visited the Philippines a few years ago. I guess I should add it to my bucket list!

Gasp! I think I just found the perfect bikini to hide my food babies. LOL. The high waist cut could really make all those eating possible. I love my food as much as I love the beach. Hahaha. The pants even added to the appeal. Plus, it’s striped black and white! My fave print for almost an eternity. You rock Cams!
