Shibuya Lights

Hello there, scramble crossing, we meet again. If New York has its iconic Times Square, Tokyo has Shibuya’s scramble crossing. No Tokyo photo diary would ever be complete without it. So even though this isn’t my first time, I still had to take a photo of it. But this time, I took it up a notch higher. I braved the crowd and took a photo in the middle of the chaos. It’s no easy feat, trust me–especially because this is one of the busiest intersections in the world. But my friends and I were determined to get the money shot, even if we looked like silly little girls. It was such a funny sight! Whenever the light turned green, one of us would run to the middle, turn around and pose like no one’s watching while the other two would take photos of her until the light turned red again. We probably did this a gazillion times, walking back and forth the intersection until we’re finally satisfied. We weren’t the only ones though. There was one guy who was shooting a music video just a few feet away from us and another shooting a dance video on the other side.

Oh scramble crossing, you’re in demand, you little devil, you!

Is it still cold in Japan when these photos are taken? If yes, kudos for you Ms. Camille for being able to wear just stockings to cover your long legs! Haha! It’s just that during our stay in Japan last month, nights were like 3 to negative 5 degrees and it was really torture to go out and have dinner. :3

Super cute jacket! Red really looks good on you – just like any other colors. HAHA. :3
