IWC Gala Dinner

After attending the Timeless Portofino Exhibit earlier in the day, I was in for an even more glamorous evening at the Grand Hyatt Hotel with my friend Laureen. We were both invited to IWC’s Gala Dinner starring Cate Blanchette and guests of honor Peter Lindbergh, Zhou Xun and Karolina Kurkova. It was definitely a star-studded event with not only IWC’s Friends of the Brand present but also Hong Kong’s who’s who. Needless to say, we had to dress to impress. Thank God for my fairy godmother, Maureen Disini, who graciously allowed me to wear her beautiful embellished number. I didn’t have time to make my own gown prior to leaving for Hong Kong so if not for her, I would’ve been screwed. Just a day before my flight, I went to her shop, tried the dress on and voila! Problem solved. It fit me like a glove! The dress was such a hit I was even included in Hong Kong’s Lifestyle Asia 10 Best Dressed of the night. It was the perfect end to an already magical evening full of scrumptious food, delectable wine, great conversation and topnotch entertainment. I definitely went to bed with a huge smile on my face. This day was a good day!

    I just need to check that list, and I must say that you are the most appropriate and stand out for that event!! I just hope it wasn’t taken that way, in the stairs. LOL. A wall, I think is better. Haha

    I’m also noting your black nails. I’m guessing you don’t have issues with the color’s meaning as some won’t wear it. Hehe. I love this. I love your gown very minimalist, I wish I could touch that only detail in front. LOL. Congratulations Ms Camille!! >.<

    OH MY GOD! Cate and Karolina! Two GORGEOUS people! How did they look like in person?! Grabe I remember how Cate Blanchett took my breath away every time she hits the red carpet during the last awards season! My God she never failed to AMAAAAZE me. Was Cate taller than you? And Karolinaaaa! I’ve always wondered how it’s like to see a LEGIT SUPERMODEL in person! Mamumutla siguro ako pag nakita ko sila. HAHAHA!
