Take It To The Streets

When you scroll down the very end of this post, you’ll see the photo of me risking my life just a little. I don’t know what got into me but I just thought, “hey, wouldn’t if be cool to get in the middle of this busy street and pose there?” At first, it seemed like something a really dedicated blogger would do. But after a couple of minutes standing in the middle of this busy road, it started to seem like something a really stupid person would do. After just a few clicks and my sudden realization, my knees started to tremble. I quickly ran to safety and thanked dear God that (A) no car hit me (B) no motorcycle rider tried to snatch my bag, and (C) I got at least one decent shot not showing my terrified face. I guess you can call this a good day after all. LOL! Now, back to being an obedient citizen and on to the sidewalk for the rest of my style shots. Enjoy!

Camille… I have been following you forever. I love your looks All of them. Do you mind if I ask the specific camera and lens you used to take this picture? To blur out the background. I too want to start blogging and love this picture.

It depends but I always put mine on manual mode and try my best to keep ISO at around 400 then shutter speed never less than 1/100. But if it’s too dark, I raise the ISO

i love how classy meets casual. And I swear, every girl needs to have an embroidered jacket like yours in her closet. Anyway, I think High Street/BGC’s the best place to take road shots. Haha I know it’s BGC but I dunno, sometimes, I feel like there are no cars vrooming around at night. Hahaha but I guess we should just be obedient pedestrians in order for us to avoid unwanted accidents hehe :)

Thanks Krizia! I guess my best advice would be to do it from the heart. Always be inspired or find inspiration. :)

Hi, I’ve been reading you forever and what’s not to love? :) You’re one of the best out there. I want to know whether you still have a physical or online shop? Thanks!

Simple yet Fab! I think every person has this sudden gush of impulse in them from time to time (I know, I have but for an entire different thing. eheh) yours would be that. Thankfully your not hurt Ms.Camille and nice shot you got there.

    Good Morning!

That was daring Miss Camille, but really risky. For me, better shoot at safer places ’cause I can see that was also a dangerous place. Snatchers and creepy men are everywhere in so public places like that. I can really feel your sudden fear after that shot.

Oh Cams ikaw na talaga! No don’t limit your posts to the sidewalks please. At least limit it to “not so busy patches of road” like those that you take for your Tagaytay posts. I seriously love those. :) I seldom see you blog photos from night trips/events. I know we all love natural light. Yes? But these are magical. The lights are lovely and they illuminate your pretty face. Sana more of these rin. :)
