Farmville

I’ve always known Sheridan Beach Resort And Spa to be a haven where the sun, sand and sea meet, but I didn’t know it also has an organic farm. In fact, the Sheridan Organic Farm is the biggest organic farm in all of Palawan and the only one to produce black rice (which I even got to take home with me). 80% of the resort’s food requirements come from the farm–with all its delicious fruits and green vegetables harvested here. Isn’t it nice to know you can eat healthy even on vacation?

The Sheridan Organic Farm is open to tours and camping for guests. Since we’re not really the camping-kind of girls, we just went on an eco-tour around the farm that ended with a scrumptious boodle fight lunch. I must say, Sheridan’s fresh harvests are to-die-for. I’ve never seen us eat that fast!

Love the vibe of this post. It kinda makes me feel like you’re the owner of the farm. Mala haciendera pala eh no? Lol. Kidding aside, I also want to experience this! Imagine, summer vacation less the carbs! Haha :D
