Batwings

I remember when a website included one of my photos below in a humorous article about the disadvantages of wearing long flared sleeves. The author used my photo as an example of how not to pose when wearing sleeves like these. She said, don’t bend your arms like how I did, else risk looking like a bat. Lol. But here I am, showcasing the same pose (see 2nd photo below).

Don’t worry, I didn’t take offense. (It was a really funny and relatable article.) Deliberately including said photo isn’t some sort of protest. I just can’t help but bend my arms this way because I like how flared sleeves look when they open up like this. Don’t they just look so dramatic and oriental? They make me want to dance and flail my arms like a flower child on a meadow… or maybe flap my wings like a true bat.

Well what’s the point of wearing long flared sleeves if you won’t display the flariness? (not sure if there’s such a word) I find your style brave and adventurous, but still you always manage to look coordinated and feminine. I especially love your creativity with matching colors and different textures. You’re a breath of fresh air Camille, truly inspiring! ~ From your Pinay fan in Singapore <3

Well if that’s what the author has to say, then we have one gorgeous looking bat over here ladies and gentlemen. ;) Kidding aside,I think you look really pretty! And of course you posed that way for us readers to see the style of your sleeves. As an aspiring blogger before, I really found it hard to pose for pictures and I always feel awkward in my photos. But I continue to feel motivated because of posts like these and how you show how true you are to yourself no matter what other people say. Hoping for more inspiration from you! <3

You’re gorgeous. Even if the author said that you’ll look like a bat if you do that pose, I don’t think it that way. You slayed that photo. And I love the outfit, love its color. So cool and refreshing just like a modern day princess. But I think you suit better to be called as queen than a princess but either that way, you’re undeniably gorgeous and no person can argue with that. I also want to thank you for noticing my comments on your instagram, I’m so greatly happy whenever you take time to reply. You’re beautiful inside and out. No wonder why you’re so blessed and I wish you all the best in life. I wish you could also notice me on facebook and YouTube. All the love Queen.

Thank you so much Ms. Camille for taking time to reply to my comments on your IG pictures and in your blogs. You have no idea how it makes me happy :) Btw I just finished watching Cinderella (non-animated) for the nth time and truth be told, while I was watching the movie I suddenly remembered you. At first, I thought it was the gown since her gown was as elegant as what you had when you were in Greece (I honestly was jealous of all your pictures and was very intrigued of who the guy was and now he’s everyone’s favorite among the blogger jowas hahaha) but there was more to it than the gowns. When the movie ended with the words: Have courage and be kind, I thought “this is so Camille Co!!!!”. You’re courageous because you were brave enough to share your video “Overcoming My Fears and Insecurities”. In the society that we live in, that’s not an easy thing to do; being vulnerable is never easy. But you did it and I couldn’t be more amazed. You’re kind because you take time to reply to your followers and I couldn’t forget your post when you gave your family driver (even before you were born) a chance to shop at Watson’s worth thousands for his family and for his service to you and your family. Since then, I knew you were a good person; and how I wish I can get to know you more and meet you in person.

I like how you shared on Instagram how hassle it is to eat wearing flared sleeves and you have toyo on your table 😂 I actually haven’t thought of that (or maybe because I rarely wear flared sleeves) not until I’ve read your caption. Thank you for your spontaneity! This is one of the reasons why I love reading your captions and blogs because it is insightful and I actually learn a lot of things that can’t be taught in school nor read in books. 😊

    Hello Cams,

I can’t seem to understand what’s wrong in posing that way. It emphasizes the flared sleeves in a classy and elegant way. Well, everyone have their own opinion about it, but it definitely looks good on you. Keep it up. :)

This bell-sleeved top is so beautiful! <3 :) And lol, I would be a little horrified if my photo was posted on a website like how it was done to you! Glad that you didn't take it offensively! Beautiful photos as always!
