Just A Little Boyish

itscamilleco.com2013101309

A Feng Shui master once told me that the date and time I was born on had a very masculine aura. He said this is the reason why I have quite a lot of masculine traits. I do agree with him to some extent. Don’t get me wrong, I move and act like a a total girly girl but in terms of my personality, there are some masculine traits there. So maybe it’s also written in the stars for me to like androgynous styles as much as I like feminine clothes. I’m a complicated mix of girly and boyish, just like my outfit!

    Love eeetttT! <3

Because of you po talaga, I learned to appreciate fashion. Though hindi man ako fashionista almost all the time because of, errr, some hindrances, I learned naman how to wear a simple tee, jeans and sneakers in a way na hindi naman masyadong boring. Marunong na din mga mata kong kumilatis ng magandang fashion sa other people.

Isa lang talaga ang hindi ko pa rin ma grasp till today : How to pee when you’re wearing bodysuits.

I don’t know what suddenly changed your style, I’ve always reading your blog from the very first day and I don’t know how the words “boyish” or “androgynous” came popping out in this blog. You’re always in dresses of any lengths, you always loved wearing high heels and now you SUDDENLY change into something which is really not your original style.
You may not agree with this but you probably adapt it from laureen Uy who has always been edgy. And I think you’re trying to be her and her style. THIS IS NOT THE REAL CAMILLE CO WHO MADE THIS BLOG. I swear.

If that’s what you think, then okay! :) But if you check my Chictopia and Lookbook, and even my earlier posts I’ve always liked wearing boyish shoes and shorts and edgy styles as well. (One of my earliest posts here had androgyny na nga sa title haha) My friends, including Laureen, know this. They see these things and say, they’re so me. And if we do get inspired by each other, then it’s not really a bad thing, right? You spend so much time with each other you’re bound to get influenced by each other. But at the end of the day, we all have our own styles. There are things my friends wear that I’d wear and others that I’d never wear in my entire life. LOL! They can wear girly things too but that doesn’t mean they’re copying “my style”. Also, I’ve always said this before, I don’t like getting stereotyped or labeled as one thing lang. I like versatility and that have always been my preference when it comes to my style. It’s nice that my girly dresses stand out to you the most, maybe this is why you think that’s the only style I have and should have. But I like being girly, boyish, classic, edgy, etc. So many styles to experiment and have fun with! Ang sad naman if you always style yourself a certain way lang. Where’s the growth there? Fashion is evolving and so should your style. We should be openminded about things like this :)

Love your printed cropped top and shoes. I believe, we all girls have a bit of masculine traits in us even if we don’t want to admit it.

Hey, thank you so much for stopping by my blog, appreciate it a lot.

Hi Camille, I’m now here in the Philippines and I’m trying to find the wall you had your outfit post “Roar” at. You said it’s in the Fort near the parking lot behind Boni Central…where is boni central exactly? We need the wall for a photo shoot tomorrow. :) Thank you, take care and God bless :)
